Brittany Zamora's attorney deflects blame to 13-year-old victim

Zamora pleaded guilty to sexually abusing her 13-year-old student, but to hear her lawyer talk Zamora seems to believe she was set up by her victim. About an hour after Zamora cried in court and said she was ashamed of her actions, her attorney implied the victim pursued Zamora and that his family was only after money. @@jefferywatson2309 Impossible, this is a defence strategy based on factual evidence. But still very weak since it rides solely on the accountability of the 13-year-old child. And he has no accountability in this matter. If he behaved inappropriately she could have taken action against that. Not go along with it. Even if the 13-year-old wanted it.

Yes, I saw the screenshots of their back-and-forth texting about future hookups, and yes, there wasn't any hesitation or reservation in the boy's responses. IT DOESN'T MATTER. Hell my 8 year old son is persistent about a lot of things he wants, but as an adult it is up to you to make the rational decision. She was the adult and if she can be persuaded or whatever she wants to call it by a 13 year old, then she is clearly a predator. A normal adult would end that behavior immediately and not play into it. Give me a damn break.

I was 14 when I lost my virginity, and it was to an older girl. Technically it was statutory rape. I can honestly say I was not mentally prepared for that kind of thing. Here I was thinking that it meant a whole lot, I’d be her boyfriend and would be visiting her at her college and sleeping in her dorm, going to parties, her driving me around, I’d be this big deal among my friends because I was dating an older chick. Then a few days later wouldn’t accept my calls, wouldn’t say hi to me around the neighborhood. I just couldn’t handle it. Made me borderline insane. I had no idea people did that to each other. Really bad way to learn.

I can't believe what I just saw. After all the "heartfelt" blubbering and apologizing by Brittany Zamora in court, her attorney holds a press conference and becomes a pitbull, going for the victim's jugular. Afterwards a reporter asked the attorney: *"Are you guys really blaming a 13 year old boy who's the victim in this case?"* She replied in disgust: "That's not what I said." Well, to me that IS what she _basically_ said. This little press conference did not jive at with Zamora's guilty plea and subsequent "remorseful" behavior in court. Her attorney is now playing her up as the true victim. Sickening.

There are very clear biological differences at this age. Can’t stand people trying to use the “imagine if it were a girl” well if it were a girl let’s run it down 1. She wouldn’t have an interest in sex the same way as a teenage hormonal boy 2. Girls have to be penetrated resulting in pain and bleeding 3. Boys don’t feel any pain during this 4. Boys at this age will have sex with anything that’s not their hand Not to mention with this specifically he initiated contact He snuck out to see her knowing it was wrong He asked to do it again He was persistent on doing more sexual acts But oh yeah just poor him right he was soooo abused

It's rare to see women receiving just penalties for these such crimes.

I had friends at 13 that were as aggressive towards women as a grown man. Attorneys job is to speak on behalf of the client. Nothing Criminal about that.
