Nice see Ajax around my area of Sweden
This was a good video of Ajax in the cold. I've seen other clips of it but this was more extensive - More insights from the actual users. Good one👍

Thanks mate 🤙🤙
A couple of questions here for me with the Swedish perspective against you brits perspective. 1. The Ajax is only running in plowed terrain and raods in the video and no feild terrain, In fact you can as esily use an old SAAB 900 car or any old Ferguson TEA20 or similar tractor (Ive run our old MF135 all winter in similar conditions or worse) 2. did they get a chance to compare to the Swedish Army's CV9040's regarding drivetrain ergonomics and terrain driving?, If so how well did the both system perform?. Frankly this video gives me bad vibes as they dont show the vehivle in offraod enviroment. and the way the people talk in the video is to non specific to even state if the system was combat capable in the arctic enviroment. Best regards.
Made 2 min away from my house,im ex Inf myself, its the MCV-80 big brother, a lot bigger & a lot harder :) and i will say, provides well paid jobs for the area.
If you get the chance then you really should check out the video called "med fienden i garderoben" the thumbnail says "the hell of street fighting" the video is all about fighting in an urban area and the dangers of doing so. I know that you would love the video. It is in Swedish but it has English subtitles. If you ever get the time for it of course!
CV90……was the top option.

There is already plans to design replacement for cv90. 😊 The cv90 is no spring chicken any more.. AJAX any day of the week for me.
Having demonstrated the short sightedness of the MOD by dumping airportability, surely there is a case for a light support/ recce vehicle that is air portable and can be deployed rapidly with airbourne troops, like for example the Rheinmetal Weasel II, or are the powers that be going to hang our airbourne guys out to dry again?
UK should have bought the CV90 instead... The CV90 can be fitted out with whatever guns, sights and and other special features to your specific specs. Why invent the wheel when it won´t be as good as the GOAT?

Clearly you have never heard of the MoD. They did this with the SF Chinook purchase, resulting in the most expensive removal vans in the world. The F.4 went through the same and the current debacle, the Hermes 450 to Watchkeeper reinvention.
Canada should buy these. Or the CV 90.
Great to see progress.

Yes it is, vehicles have come along way and Ajax is finally be used
Not to rain on your parade, but for the British Army not to choose the CV90 from BAE Systems with all its variants has been a huge mistake. Not only has the procurement of Ajax had numerous delays and overdrafts, but the UK is the sole user, while the CV90 is in use by at least 8 nations, battle proven and tested in Ukraine. The British Army could have had many squadrons ready by now with all the experience and training behind you. If Europe is ever going to be able to stand up to Russia and other enemies, having multiple different weapon systems spread all over Europe is not the answer! It's wasteful, expensive and militarily inefficient. All the different logistics and production parts is a nightmare in real war, and as we know, winning a war is all about logistics.

But british equipment is normally home grown like the challenger which is different to the abrams and leopard

A lot of countries benefit from being able to produce their own equipment.

@@skyrimvox sure, but BAE is based in the UK. Its a multinational sure but its roots are VERY british, with Hägglunds in sweden who makes CV90 being the most independent part of the company. Its OWNED by a british company and could be manufactured IN the UK. Would for all intents and purposes be home grown.
I don’t know anything about the military, except that it was a huge thing in Sweden during the Cold War and that everything now is shut down. So it’s really interesting to get an outsiders view on the operation we have now. I saw a video about how Sweden could handle a Russian invasion made by “The Icarus project”. It would be so interesting to hear your thoughts on that. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYKI15t6fK66j6Q.htmlsi=FUagRWFbwmiAHMJn

In the 1980's any transfer paperwork would be taken as an insult and put in the bin .
