I know it has been a very sad day for Bridgetown and I greive with you all for this tremendous loss. I used to live in the blue and gray house that is right across the street, from 1978 to 1986. That church is such a strong part of my momories growing up in Bridgetown, even though I never went inside it (I went the St. James Anglican). It was what I saw every time I stepped out the door. Thank you to the firefighters who I'm sure knew they would not be able to save it. That had to be a very hard reality. But they protected the adjacent properties and did the best they could. I'm praying from California for all of the congregation of the church and all citizens of Bridgetown.

Can somebody explain why you have basket mid mount ladder just sitting in the air not doing anything?

I am guessing that they were using the bucket to observe and direct the others where to aim

The usual cause is because there is inadequate water supply. However, in this case, the fire attack appears a bit disjointed.

The second ladder truck should also be putting water on the fire, its not like it is Ghostbuster where they are not allowed to cross the streams. 😂😂
