I saw this series when it aired in 1973. I was age 16. It made my heart bleed then, and now in 2024 it makes my heart bleed and makes me cry even more. If you enjoy this series, do read Evelyn Waugh's book of the same title. Book and series - absolutely brilliant and heartbreaking. Thank you so much for this.
