A lot of yall don’t know how to scout these WRs. A limited route tree does not mean the player is not capable of doing more. BTJ does need to work on making his hitches more snappy and also work on balance in those aspects. Also the fact that you all think he has questionable hands says all I need to know about the way yall watch these players. He had a 3.6% drop rate which was one of the lowest in all of this draft class. BTJ has elite speed that ACTUALLY shows up on film, good lateral quickness and smoothness for someone his size, GOOD hands both short and deep with a 3.6%. Drop rate. This mfer is a legit WR

@@raztafar99 🤦🏾‍♂️body catcher or hands catcher if your drop rate is 3.6% is still insane. Also if he has a 3.6% drop rate with body catching why doesn’t everyone else have a similar drop rate or better drop rate if they’re catching with their hands more? Shouldn’t they also start body catching or is it the fact that his body catching concerns are grossly overstated and when he’s tracking the ball deep he has incredible deep ball catching with his hands and overall good hands since his drop rate is 3.6%

@@raztafar99he body catches too much but to say he doesn’t catch with his hands is just wrong. He goes up and catches all types of balls and catches tons of balls out in front and over his head. He absolutely has flashes of lateral quickness particularly on single cut routes.

Pros: His releases are really good, his speed is ELITE, he’s 6’3”, his ball tracking/over-the-shoulder deep balls is GREAT, and he is jittery enough to get a a lot of YAC Cons: Didn’t run a ton of routes, average jumpball receiver, struggled at times catching slants that were below his chest, didn’t really fully extend on many catches/alligator arms potentially(?) Overall: A really fun prospect that has 3 high end/elite traits. If he cleans up his drops in the short to midrange he’ll be able to be a worst a consistent 1000 yard receiver. Comp: Terry Mclaurin with better agility, but slightly worse hands
