The Florida QB getting hit is completely on him. Instead of taking the knee as soon as he got the ball, he decided to run around with it, making him a live target. He only went down as soon as the DB was right in his face with a full head of steam, and you can see the DB try to stop. If you're going to take a knee to end the game, take the knee, don't run around.

When I played in high school we had a full back that was a train. The sleepy backfield judge got popped and flattened out and our guy kept on going . We use to hate it when we'd get a bunch of older refs. We ran what our coach called racehorse football. You huddle and run the play as fast as you could. It tired the defense out and the officials. They'd call official time outs so they could catch their breath which wasn't fair to us .
@wellingnoton
7 ай бұрын
I never played football, but I can only imagine how damn frustrating that would be. Refs at any level from JV High School and above should have to pass physical fitness standards. I'm sure they do have to pass a fitness test of some level, but it needs to be a higher standard. You can't have referees interfering with a team's gameplan and affecting the game rather than facilitating it. Even if it's just a no-name JV High School game, these games matter to the players and the parents and everyone who puts so much time and effort into the season and to have some fat ref negatively impact your hours of effort and preparation is just beyond unacceptable. It would be like having a math teacher who has to google the answer to the problem's they are teaching you how to solve...

They really should change the rules that allow touchdowns like at 2:00. If you are clearly tackled, but just happen to fall on other bodies, you really are down. It's one thing if you are able to keep yourself off the ground with the HELP of other bodies. But if you are totally out of control over your body and just happen to land on others, that should be down.

5:20 - greatest catch of all time, not even close
Yo, at 3:09 we can see the football player trying to butt hole jitsu the guy with the football
10:10 Running back leads with the crown of his helmet and takes out a defensive player and it's not against the rules. If a defender had done the same thing his team would have been penalized 15 yards and he would have been disqualified..

Targeting needs to be abolished.

lol, as a rugby player that’s gonna be your own fault for not being in a better position to tackle. if you get rocked then that’s on you don’t cry about it

dude was on his heels the whole play, next time go in full tilt and make a real hit instead of stumbling into the tackle

@@jakemandude7974 Amen. I accepted Christ when I was twelve, and was blessed to have teachers and mentors knowledgeable in apologetics. Now at 24, I can say with pride that I am a firm believer in the Lord.
7:56 That's a hell of a way to welcome BYU to the Big 12.

2nd play from scrimmage in Big 12 play lmao. It's gunna take the new programs a couple of seasons to settle into consistent power 5 play. I think UCF and BYU have the best chance to actually be good in a few years out of the new G5 schools.

Does anybody know where I can hear the song band playing at :45 ? Or at least what it's called? That instrumental drop goes hard
The guy stepping on a down lineman's head....should not go unpunished.! The dude was hurt & in pain before the assault. The team must have seen it and the coach should be allowed to initiate a video review.

It looked like targeting to me
Nah #1 on gators best catch I've seen ever
Whenever someone writes "jaw-dropping," mental faculties have taken leave.
i watched the ucf baylor game live
How dare you! Plenty of KU Jaysquaks but no Kansas State University Wildcats?!
UCF catch was crazy! Because UCF blew a 28 point lead, only to then wake up and convert that 4th down... and then promptly miss the FG giving Baylor the win anyway.
where was the offensive line on that first clip 0:44
When I played in high school we had a full back that was a train. The sleepy backfield judge got popped and flattened out and our guy kept on going . We use to hate it when we'd get a bunch of older refs. We ran what our coach called racehorse football. You huddle and run the play as fast as you could. It tired the defense out and the officials. They'd call official time outs so they could catch their breath which wasn't fair to us .

“Touch down”.
What happens if the lights go out during the play, and when they come back on, the ball carrier is standing in the end zone?
Wow
Someone ought to check into LA Tech. I have seen dirty plays for years.
Is the announcer from the first clip the hornets announcer who says hum didledee
thought that you mentioned dois trois catfishing?
They really should change the rules that allow touchdowns like at 2:00. If you are clearly tackled, but just happen to fall on other bodies, you really are down. It's one thing if you are able to keep yourself off the ground with the HELP of other bodies. But if you are totally out of control over your body and just happen to land on others, that should be down.
The Fresno State run was just stupid. “technically” he wasn’t down but he was tackled onto someone.
florida state has literally had espn top ten plays almost every week and not a single one one made this vid somehow...

dammmmmn that one handed catch from the gators thooo
I groaned in sympathy for that USC QB who took a football to the nuts.
In the first clip next Lamar Jackson
My jaw didn’t drop😔
Try making some of those catches without the sticky gloves. They wouldn’t be able to do it.
That one handed catch is all the more reason why if the person catching has those gloves on that it aint that impressive cause the material is so sticky that they can catch with their finger tips. I am always more impressed with people catching without gloves.
