He looks pretty average, some good catches but if the dude can't break tackles in college, he's going to struggle mightily in the pros

Dude has a laser and Caleb was #1 😂😂😂 huge mistake by Chicago. Atlanta first black qb since Vick. Mariotta and Ridder are mutts.

For me, it’s the noter dame game that scares me. I have feeling many (including some NFL scouts) are just chalking this one up to “USC bad, Caleb had to do everything himself.” But the other explanation is that Caleb struggled to have good timing on certain players, and his knack for hero ball is what sunk him. Also, 3 interceptions in the 1st first half just isn’t good, no matter how you slice it.

Milroe took a lot of sacks last year by holding onto the football for too long and not be decisive. O-line is a lot better than the numbers might indicate

Here because of the rumored struggles at Bears camp. Looking at the tape..its easy to see why. People are too invested in the run around the throw at awkward angles ability rather than structured, anticipatory traits a pro should have

he only struggled on one day out of the 10 or so ota+minicamp practices hes been involved in, and keenen allen and rome odunze both didnt practice that day. the rest of the camp went quite well for him.

Between the bad snaps from McLaughlin and the wide open recievers that Milroe was either way late in finding or didn't even make the progression to ever see, this game really shouldn't have been as close as it was.

watching this shows how absolutely terrible he will be in the nfl. half his throws are on his backfoot or screen passes. the offense cordinator is incredibly good.drops back so far his line cannot help and he stares down WRs

The idiots in the comments don’t know football. His coordinator schemed for him to continuously drop back into coverage. If you’re a Eagles fan you’re going to be pissed, because Fangio does this. That being said he’s meh but could be mid.

I don’t understand the NFL hype. He’s a great athlete with a great arm but he’s small and doesn’t seem to see the field that well. Put him on a team without such dominant players around him and I think he looks way worse.

JJ McCarthey Positives + Strong Arm + Good Accuracy + Can fit the ball into tight areas + Good Athlete has good Pocket footwork + Doesn't force bad throws Negatives - Needs to work on layering his passes when needed - only has 2 throwing styles fastball or a even harder fastball - Can be to conservative at times needs to be more aggressive - Consistency can be a problem at times - JJ is going to take time to be a NFL starter he would be better off sitting like Jordan Love did in Green Bay NFL Comp - Rich Gannon

I don't know why so many people are worried about him. I see a WR carrying his team because his QB is trash. Most of the passes that were incomplete were absolute terrible passes. Once he has the ball he's extremely driven which I think will fair well for us. You also have to look at Brady's plan, he's not looking for a sole #1. He wants range in the position to keep the defense guessing. No more "its going to Diggs double him" Now we have at least 3 receivers we can rotate through that at any given time could be getting the ball. That to me is way more valuable than having Diggs complaining for the ball every play from double coverage. Diggs also had booty for YAC the last two seasons. He caught the ball and laid down before he could get hit.

I saw the same thing. He has a very quick release and he is very very accurate. I think he needs to protect himself a lot more, but he has the right coach and coaches in Washington to coach him up the right way. And damn he's fast!! He's going to be a problem in the NFC East once the game slows down to him.
