This dude is amazing in space but my god if there is anyone near him he cant complete it. Hes going to get devoured by NFL guys.

@@Emmannyhe’s saying Bowers is deadly in open space but when it comes to contested catches he never comes down with it. Which i agree watching his game you wanna see him make more of those contested catches cause thats how TEs in the NFL earn their way.

You didn't see the two back to back catches at the 11 min mark?

@@dlemieux9405the play literally at the 11 min mark is what im talking about. he got thrown a catchable ball and cant go up and get it. arms too small and too short. guys can just bother him too easily

@@user-ui3db2rz9w have you watched his freshman and sophomore tape? Literally filled with contested catches. This year it was lower sure but saying he doesnt make tough catches with defenders on him is wrong.

He really doesn’t play much like a TE, he’s more of a fullback that doubles as a slot receiver. Love the lead blocking, but he’s limited as a true te. His speed and balance are pretty amazing and I think that’s probably what makes him unique. Not sure he’s worth drafting in the top 20 because his route tree is not super versatile (compared to other receivers projected in the 1st rd) and the benefit of a rookie contract for a tight end is very small compared to the value of a wr.

Like others have mentioned, it looks like if you put a body on him in man coverage or get hands on him as the ball comes, then he has a really difficult time of making a catch. Many of his big plays come against zone, or he's simply schemed open. I think he's a fantastic TE overall, especially his YAC ability. But he's gonna have to play against bigger and more aggressive DBs who'll treat him as a WR on the next level, and I'm kinda worried 😟

He’s more of a slot receiver than a tight end mainly because he’s not good at contested catches
