Good route runner. I expected more explosiveness after the catch to be honest. Ewers is way too inconsistent, makes a great throw then an absolutely horrible one right after. Had AD on some deep balls for huge plays and he had to come to a complete stop and wait for the ball to get there. If Ewers is a top 3 or 4 QB in next years class then boy does that class stink lol

So many horrible throws pause it at 11:00 he beat his man by 10 yards an average throw and. It’s a 70 yard touchdown instead ewers underthrows him and he has to slow down stop turn around so many of these plays cost him over 500 yards

@@123shoshan Not sure about the 500 yards thing because AD only got like 4 targets a game most the year. Just too many mouths to feed on that Texas offense but Ewers is terrible. I bet they wish he entered the portal so they could start Manning this season

@@jeffwheeler1893 it’s literally in the clips at least 10 plays I can find you he would of had 40 more yards at minimum each play

Draft him cause he'll always make a play when the games on the line or its the 4th quarter.

I think AD Mitchell is an elite WR prospect between yards 0-25 down the field and also in the red zone. Asking him to be a deep threat or win on deep posts will not work in his favor. In most other classes he’d be the WR1 but in this he’s the WR 6 imo behind MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, BTJ, and Ladd

He has interesting movements. Super fluid, giving him a huge catch radius as well as a smooth transition with deception in his breaks, definitely talented. Not overly competitive or focused, he also had a ton of free releases vs off coverage. He's not reliable enough to play inside all the time, so i think he's gonna be best outside. Will he be able to overcome press coverage against better competition that's not scared of him is the big question mark. It's simply not easy to win on the outside in the NFL, you really have to be ultra competitive and work your craft. Definitely has upside and talent, will be up to him. Needs a qb that can give good ball placement.

He's a beast against press. He also gets excellent separation at the top of his routes. He wants the ball when the game is on the line, and has shown to be reliable to make a big play. Quinn Ewers was super inconsistent. I think AD will be a better pro than college player.

Really good top speed but he seems to lose his footing and does not high point the ball like s1 his size should. thrives in short to intermediate range has very quick and twitchy route running. Seems to not play at full speed

They're 2 different type of WRs. If I need a possession guy to pepper with targets, I'll take AD all day cause he's a way better route runner...but if I need someone to complement my WR1, then I'm taking Thomas all day.
