Some of the reads on BT2 here are over the top for me. When a guy is good he’s good. He doesn’t have to be the best or most dangerous. Doesn’t have to be the smoothest in the NCAA, we just need to see what the player does well. We see all of that in the all 22 film here. The player shows elite promise and should enjoy a good start to his NFL career

That's an ambitious comp but I like it! I think he can do more than he was asked to do at LSU. He creates easy separation- if he can get stronger in contested catch situations, there won't be much weakness at all to his game.
Great separation for a big WR should shoot up the draft boards

Omg those are some nasty releases and routes! Yikes! How does a guy that big run routes that would make sub-6 foot receivers envious? The guy moves like Tank Dell but is twice his height (almost literally lol). Definitely my latest draft crush.
I would be just fine with the colts taking him 15th overall. He had the skills that win in the NFL. Dont be surprised if he finishes as the best rookie wr. He will go to a better situation than Nabers, Odunze, and MHjr.

3:49 if you don’t have to leave your feet you shouldn’t. It’s taught that often in camps in the south. You lose the yac threat. We taught catch it and turn into a running back. If you leave your feet unnecessarily you can’t lose balance or slow down momentum. Just a little nuance with timing.
The more I watch this dude the more I like his game. Don't know if he's strong enough at the catch point to be elite in the NFL. But the rest of his game is extremely impressive.

Hands can improve but you cant teach the kind of effortless separation he gets.
Thanks for the breakdown. Not sure why so many of these taller receivers are so lean. Used to be, at 6-3+, a WR would be 220-225. Now, they're barely 200.

@@gameboiz1 Im genuinely shocked that so many have Odunze over Thomas. Odunze has nice ball skills but he just looks so clunky and not smooth when he runs. Reminds of Treylon Burks, who everyone went bonkers over 2 years ago and has been mostly a bust. Meanwhile, Thomas scored 17 tds and destroyed the SEC lol. 6'4" with 4.33 speed and hes not just an athlete. The guy can play. Reminds me of Jefferson getting underrated cuz he played with Chase and Burrow.
Please do one on Tvondre Sweat & McKinnley Jackson . Bengals need to hit on a DT or NT n not miss!!

I have him around #5 in the class only behind MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, and Franklin. I think there’s an argument he’s better than Odunze too.

@@TylerGG I’ve watched a lot of Odunze and am not really that impressed :/ he doesn’t look fast enough to me especially when you watch MHJ, Nabers, and Franklin, he looks much slower imo. Open to hearing why you think Odunze better tho.
