Could never understand why he never became a big solo star after East 17. Definitely has a great voice and can belt out a song. Loved his 2001 single with Wyclef Jean that should have been massive. Great Ali Campbell impression. From the East End of London to the West Midlands via old school reggae from the Caribbean written by the great Neil Diamond. Well done Brian Harvey.

He was on his way then it all went south. He somehow ran himself over then all the phone hacking stuff and now that's all he goes on about on his KZread channel and seems to be in to loads of conspiracy stuff.

He was good... It's really sad to see him how he is today on KZread, really sad. I hope he manages to get help and move forward, I'm sure he'd definitely be able to work in the music industry with his obvious talent.

Brian your my sons idle he sings just like you he went to tescogoing back a few years and little girl with her dad said to him Brian Harvey there dad .he also went to go on xfexer and they wouldn't let him through because he sounded to much like you but your brilliant

Although I was a TT fan through & through back in the day I can't deny that East 17 were something back in the day-better than 1D and the rest of the X factor fodder that sound like carbon copies of each other. It's such a shame how the original lineup barely cross paths or receive the credit that they were due

Its a shame that mediocrity like take that have stood the test of time but Brian harvey, an undeniably gifted vocalist, has crashed, burned and faded out of public view.
