Brexit and the rise of populism in Europe took center stage in the European Parliament on Wednesday, as MEPs held a heated debate after European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker's State of the Union speech.

Also I am not a whore or a whoreson nor a slave or a slaveson to exchange freedom for economic prosperity. Especially when said economic prosperity same as the economic desparity will most likely never hit the lower classes either way.     We left the EU to take back control of our own country from unelected strangers and preserve our culture. The many varied cultures across Europe are what makes it so wonderful. Why should we all be morphed into the same. Variety is the spice of life and we must all protect and cherish our different cultures.     I wish I was I only go on holiday once a year, so a extra £50/£100 is not going to kill me. Maybe not as many family days out. As for food, what can you do, I just have to work more, that,s life. I feel sorry for the Millions of OAPs living in Spain & France they get there pensions in £s. So the £ crash has fairly screwed them. Maybe we are all pathetic! as you say.
