Brene Brown Braving Living Brave Oprah Tell All To | The Power Of Intention To Manifest Your Dream for 2023
'True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are.' Social scientist Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW has sparked a global conversation about the experiences that bring meaning to our lives - experiences of courage, vulnerability, love, belonging, shame and empathy. In Braving the Wilderness, Brown redefines what it means to truly belong in an age of increased polarisation. With her trademark mix of research, storytelling and honesty, Brown will again change the cultural conversation while mapping out a clear path to true belonging. Living Brave Oprah
Brown argues that what we're experiencing today is a spiritual crisis of disconnection, and introduces four practices of true belonging that challenge everything we believe about ourselves and each other. She writes, 'True belonging requires us to believe in and belong to ourselves so fully that we can find sacredness both in both being a part of something, and in standing alone when necessary. But in a culture that's rife with perfectionism and pleasing, and with the erosion of civility, it's easy to stay quiet, hide in our ideological bunkers, or fit in rather than show up as our true selves and brave the wilderness of uncertainty and criticism. But true belonging is not something we negotiate or accomplish with others; it's a daily practice that demands integrity and authenticity. It's a personal commitment that we carry in our hearts.' Brown offers us the clarity and courage we need to find our way back to ourselves and to each other. And that path cuts right through the wilderness.
Brown writes, 'The wilderness is an untamed, unpredictable place of solitude and searching. It is a place as dangerous as it is breathtaking, a place as sought after as it is feared. But it turns out to be the place of true belonging, and it's the bravest and most sacred place you will ever stand.'

The power of words to control our emotions can be therapeutic to our mental health;
✅ “I'm here for you.”
✅ “You are not alone.”
✅ “You are worthy and deserving.”
✅ “You don't have to apologize.”
✅ “There is treatment available to you…”
✅ “You are strong!.”
I suffer from bipolar disorder. There are times that I experienced cyclical remission through music and inspirational motivational speech I was able to survive every stage of my cyclical depression. Inside Serene is my alter ego - my trusted friend a gatekeeper of my pandora's box of mindfulness that helps me overcome mental struggles.
" We must be willing to encounter darkness and despair when they come up and face them, over and over again if need be, without running away or numbing ourselves in the thousands of ways we conjure up to avoid the unavoidable". - By Jon Kabat-Zinn

    Audio way off, couldn't hear or understand at times. Back ground music to loud. Random people appearing as drama very distracting. You and Oprah are who we wanted to hear and see. Valuable content. Thanks, try again please. 💝

    Please use positive imagery. Thank you. I had to turn the picture of depressed and struggling women away as I listened to the uplifting conversation.

    The Harry and Meghan interview really destroyed her reputation. It was very eye opening for me as a former fan. I wish she would address it head on. But I am afraid that is truly how she feels. It's sad that the royal family is not seen a human beings by some.

    Wow, cool...I asked to have the music taken out because in my opinion it was too loud and distracting and "inside Serene" sent a reply to my comment. Thank you so much.

    Why add music to this great narrative? It's only distraction.

    Wow! How I have missed you both in the last several months. You are my teachers, mentors and soul sisters. The last few months have been darker than I’m used to but that’s ok because in listening to this conversation, I’m reminded of the great blessings in my life but also that I have allies. I’m reminded of what it takes to revive my soul. Thank you for sharing your wisdom…I’m so grateful to have discovered new ways to navigate the peaks & valleys.

    Two people that influenced my new thought is Shirley MacLaine and Oprah and l began my deeper journey to Self. Oprah and l are born in 1954 and we both have the journey to self love through our weight. Intention is the only way out and l choose to give up one thing at a time because to give it all up at once is too hard. Amazing Grace makes me cry because it’s a song of Self Love .
