Breath of Fire-- Tantric breathing
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is a how-to instruction of breath of fire breathing exercise from Tantra and yoga pranayama (without any discussion of health benefits explanation). This is NOT the Kundalini (Yogi Bhajan) yoga version although some Kundalini teachers teach it like this. I studied breathwork at KDHAM yoga college, Sivananda, and Tantra. Worry more about feeling the benefits rather than the name.
Remember the focus is more on the exhale- this is not a panting breath. This is not bastrika- bellows breath which is deeper exhale and even more focus on exhale.

Breath of fire has been some time since I last performed. Wonderful ma’am. Authentic instruction.
thanks for the video, I had almost forgotten about this breathing technique!
I have a new video up with more details. This breathwork is not the Kundalini Yoga version of breath of fire. I do not teach Kundalini. Even at Kundalini ashrams I’ve heard three ways of doing it, so I’m not sure half the teachers understand. I teach traditional pranayama.
Great video
I have added a couple of videos explaining the many names of breath of fire. Over hundreds or thousands of years people change names in different regions of India and the world. You may know this from martial arts as well not just yoga.
Sorry to say it. This is not breath of fire.

Sue L Thank you. As I write in the description, I do not teach Kundalini yoga’s version. I teach pranayama from KDHAM yoga college and Tantra which is very different than Yogi Bhajan

@@DebraWilderMeditation - I do not teach kundalini either. I teach Sivananda. What you are teaching on here -is kalibati. But only from my training perspective. Which has different benefits from BOF. Well done on being out there though!

Sue L It is just another name. Many breathworks have 2-5 names. Only benefits matter. I trained Sivananda Niyhar Dam India. I love your style.
