Great signing for the 76ers, I think he will fill the Nic Batum role. Hopefully now they sign a real 4 like Marcus Morris, Achiuwa, Saric and Roco. Also bring back Cam Payne, Lowry and the AI era jersey.

Heat offered him 13M a yr which most (incl his agent) thought was cheap & disrespectful. Most said 15M a yr for 3 yrs type contract was fair for him & we got him off the 50 percent off discount rack!!!

Caleb Martin is a SG/SF/Wing everybody. Martin is not a Power Forward so its either: Maxey Martin Oubre George Embiid Or Oubre is the 6th Man & sixers get a PF Maxey Martin George- PF???- Embiid 6th Man- Oubre

That starting 5 looks pretty good to me. Let's PG mostly guard a lot of PFs who stand in the corner on defense, and probably still be able to out-athlete them on offense.

I want cam Payne back. If not then pat bev back. At worse if those two are not available then bring Lowry back in my opinion

The last thing the Pels need is another forward but, I guess he could carve out a decent role as back up Center

6'5 w 6'10 Wingspan this is EXACTLY what we needed. Coming in his prime, versatile, can guard 1-4, does all the little things needed to win can shoot the 3, & best of all he don't shrink in crunch time. New Boston strangler in town...

i still think they need a 15-25min a game Point Guard or one good enough to fill if people get injured .. we good on defenders and spot up shooters

Love this signing. Daryl is moving up my GM chart. ANd totally off topic I would like to see the Morris boys back in Philly. Off the bench, Markieff for rebound/inside work, Marcus for floor spacing/scoring. THey would both probably love to play together at last and might accept a little less to do so. Maybe.

Is it even possible? That plan usually involved Paul Reed being traded for him, because we could take back an extra 7 million over his salary. I guess there's the KJ Martin trick that could supposedly get us up to a $20 million player. But IDK that DFS is the best move with potentially $20 million instead of just $15 million.

I like Martin! Tough can rebound, defend, and shoot! can be a small ball 4 and especially gives us needed playoff experience, which is a plus

I like the move alot. Still got questions about rebounding which has killed the Sixers for years. They can use Martin at three and four but they need a minimum contract guy like Morris and have Bona be the third power forward. Maybe still trade for DFS. Also getting another point guard to spell Maxey.

They just need a forward with some height and another guard with handle and shot creativity. Tough ask, but i believe we have a trade exception from buddy .

We should think about either bringing back one of these vet point guards we had last season or bring in a guy like John wall older vet that can still create for himself and others and can help mentor a guy like McCain bc McCain probably will be brought up slowly and not get very many minutes for at least the start of the season so bringing in a vet guy that can facilitate and control this bench unit until McCain is ready would be a smart move for us moving forward

Only thing Reed will end up going to the Celtics or Knicks watch.

Both can be true PR was 3rd FROM LAST pick of his draft class to even get a D-League spot to becoming a D league champ & MVP moving to a bench spot was a natural progression until doc stymied his growth. He said himself doc said if he shoots a 3 he's getting benched lmao how could that NOT affect your game.

Very good signing for us however I dnt really like him starting at 4 at 6,5 I think he’s just to small for that we still need more of natural forward at the position someone closer to 6,7 6,8 that can defend

Caleb Martin is a good, solid pick up by the sixers. The sixers still need starting rebounding help bad and a point guard in order to compete with the Celtic's and Knicks.
