I like Sengun as a guy who can play center and power forward would give us versatility. Trade JR for Sengun and he could start at PF at 6'11" then back up Mitch ..pick up Bertans to help out at PF or bring back Precious. We get 8 years younger with Sengun over JR.

If OG is moved to the 4 then Donte is moving to the starting 5, not Hart.

Is the 40th trade rumor over the last 4 years involving Randle the charm? No. The Knicks like Randle fortunately.

Knicks choked in offense in play offs when Brunson could not avoid burnout . So need another offensive option. Sengun opens everything for Knicks. Imagine pick and rolls with Brunson and how they would confuse the opponents in offense. Sengun was the third best defense player on Rockets and Rockets was top 10 defensive team in the league. Mikal, OG and Josh are already top 10-15 defenders so why would you add another one when you desperately need another option on offense. However, there is nothing NY have Houston accept the deal. PS: Wolves got Gobert because KAT never wants to play center.

There is only so much basketball to go around and KAT is a volume shooter. Boston cracked the code once they figured out how to build their offense around 2 superstars getting the bulk of the shots and surrounding them with complimentary role players who can play off the Big 2 and knock down jumpers when presented with the open shot. Same thing Denver (Jokic and Murray) and with Milwaukee (Giannis and Middleton). You already have Brunson and Bridges. The Knicks would be better served pursuing Sengun or Kessler.

Marshall, why not sign and trade Precious on a 14 mill contract for 2 years and mitch to Portland for jerami grant? Grant can actually protect the rim at the 4 spot and randle can play the 5. Randle and kat both can't protect the rim well. Neither can Davis. This move makes more sense than to try and get kat. Then you go get nick richards or kessler to be a starting center when playing bigger teams. KAT isn't the player to get.

If they could get Jalen Duren that could be huge too. Maybe you could get by until a trade comes along with Robinson, Duren and maybe a Minimum Cody Zeller.

First thing, OG is too injury prone to start at the 4. Also KAT is better suited at the 4 than the 5 in my opinion. The number one option should be Sengun for Mitch and a pick. Then pick up Precious as the backup big. Let’s go Knicks!! 🤩🔥

That said, I would have prioritized signing Hartenstein back and done absolutely everything I could to have moved Robinson instead. Gonna regret letting him go.

Please put some respect on Randle’s name. I want to run this back WITH Randle, not without him. You just don’t give up this kind of talent (25/10/5), ESPECIALLY for KAT.

Why I think Randle is so invaluable to the Knicks is because he is so god dang versatile. This guy can pass and even shot from downtown at a 40% clip. Most importantly, he gives us depth in gameplay, by bringing the ball to the ground with his unstoppable post moves. I think the playoffs, that will our X factor in getting over the humps of tough games. Jalen can't bring it every night, and we need someone who can be the focal point of the offense at times. That is Randle. This offense can easily shift around Jalen and Julius combo and will be much tougher to guard and scheme against. It is much easier to scheme and build a roster for just Jalen cooking to a kickout to OG/Mikal, than that combo with Randle kicking out Jalen/mikal/OG. I truly think 1 on 1 Randle is unstoppable and can bang it out with the best defensive players in the league. I do not trust Karl towns in the playoffs down low in the post at all. Randle is real grown man, while Karl is still a baby pretending to be a big man.

That's gunna be a no for me dawg. We do need a Center, but I'd prefer a cheaper option/veteran tested. Also Randle as a 3rd option is legit and intriguing. I'd like to see what he can do when the pressure is off of him. I just hope he can stay healthy.

I trust the front office because so far they’ve done a good job. They have all the data and the medical reports on players, so if they believe that KAT is a good fit on this team then I agree with them. A starting 5 of Brunson, Donte, Bridges, OG and KAT looks pretty good to me. Coming off the bench is Hart, Precious, Kolek, and Rokas etc.
