Brandt Daroff Exercises for Dizziness or Vertigo

The Brandt-Daroff habituation exercise for dizziness is demonstrated in this video. This exercise is ideal for those who are unable to easily perform the more aggressive series of home vestibular exercises shown in this video: • Inner Ear Balance Home...
Keep in mind that the Brandt-Daroff exercises are meant for those in whom no obvious cause or diagnosis can be figured out. That said, it sometimes can be used in the treatment for BPPV in order to help dislodge and/or break up the otolith crystals. In turn, this allows the more traditional BPPV maneuvers to work better.
These exercises should be performed for five repetitions, twice a day, for two weeks.

@karenoun8156 For me, l only had to do the exercise once, and it stopped my BPPV straight away, so that's one 10 minute session on the sofa, l also occasionally repeat the exercise maybe once a month, hope this is useful for you too......

@karenoun8156 After completing that first Brandt Darof 10-minute exercise, l had a bit of a dull headache for a couple of hours afterwards, then after a day or two, my unsteadiness settled down and I was back to normal, in the meantime l have also stopped drinking alcohol, and only having decaffeinated tea and coffee, and l feel 100% better in myself, hope this helps you.......

It does nothing. Seems its just something given to people so the doctor doesn't have to say we don't know how to fix it but here's meds to control it. From experience this vertigo is a long term thing change your diet exercise slowly eat healthy avoid to many sugars and it helps. Those things helped it hasn't gone comes back once a while affects your life.

Bro there’re statistics saying that it works for some people. The treatment outcome is not 100%, so if it doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work for other people.

@zuhalsevgener800 it took around 2 weeks for it to work for me, it didn't clear my vertigo completely, it seemed to slow the spinning feeling down & made things a bit better for me. After 6 weeks I can now walk around without having to hold onto something to stop me from falling. Hope you start to feel better soon.

I eat quite healthy. No gluten, sugar or milk products from cow ( I sometimes consume organic goat milk). I eat plenty of salads with organic ingredients and never eat processed foods(since 2020) . But I have vertigo . Maybe eating healthy makes it better, but unfortunately does not prevent it from happening
