Dr Janelle Sinclair I immediately purchased Thorne Research Sacro-B 60 as per your recommendation. My issues began the morning of October 18, 2018. I noticed that my mind seem to be asleep and had a weird feeling asthough I couldn’t fully awake for two days straight. I was so concerned that I eventually scheduled an appointment with a neurologist for testing. MRI revealed that my brain size was normal and no abnormalities. In speaking with the neurologist she recommended that I focus more on daily activities 🤔. It should be noted that I had two orthopedic knee surgeries during the summer of 2018, and didnt perform any strenuous physical activities for some time. In addition, I stopped smoking cigarettes and gained a lot of weight, now at 200lbs.

I have SIBO and used FODMAPS plus vsl3 probiotics under guidance of a slow gut specialist. It helped my gut issues hugely and still does, but no difference to my fatigue or brain fog. But glad it works for some. Interesting to see the yeast recommended. Surprised recommendation re incr acid doesmt come w warning/caution to avoid in ppl with previous gastric ulcers or on PPI alongside eg steroids.

I surely have gut problems like indigestion. I am considering to have a low FODMAP diet for a month. I don't know from where to start...

@@DrJanelleSinclairI changed a lot actually. My start point was symptoms on the autism spectrum (aspergers type ones) not just brain fog and digestion issues. I had researched GAPS and SCD. I done a 1 week gluten and dairy elimination with improvements. Went to a holistic doctor for some allergin testing. He told me to do a more full elimination diet, so I took out the common allergens (gluten, dairy, corn, soy, egg, shellfish) as well as the sacharides you mention in the video. reading food labels made me aware of all the crap in them, so with the help of an app only purchased products (i'm talking canned whole foods, not processed crap) with safe additives, no dangerous (they are still in our food, even though its known to be bad for you) or even suspicious ones. That process took several months with only adding back in single foods at a time. blood sugar regulated and started loosing weight even though I was eating more then I used to. Mostly I was eating grean leafy vegetables and organic beef. e.g. brussel sprouts, kale, spinnage, silverbee flavoured with 'real salt' and pepper, and kelp flakes. Supplements were: repairvite glutathione blend, GSH glutathione blend, curcumin, vitamin D, methly-folate, intramax multivitamin, l-glutamine. After a few weeks I started eating probiotic foods like saurkraut religiously, and brewing my own kombutcha (making sure to let it sour so no sugars remained). If we could afford it we would have all eaten organic, but did buy organic off the dirty dozen as that is what we could afford. After a the three months, when I could finally tolerate root vegetables again and was eating close to a 'paleo' diet. I added in Milk kefir that I made with raw organic jersey milk, i let it ferment longer until it split into curds and whey - thus I could tolerate it without reaction. I later purchased a milking goat which is naturally A2 and fermented that, later testing it raw and had no issues with it. We swapped out our cleaning products for natural ones. After doing all this for a year or two I lose a bunch of weight, I stopped hearing humming lightbulbs and had the option to tune out background noise and had no music in my head (oh my goodness silence is golden!). I was able to keep track of time (before 5mins and 1 hour felt the same), remember multiple bits of information (including long numbers) for extended periods of time and schedule my day all in my head. -- I know some of this is probably not that fantastic to some people, but I wasn't able to remember more than three digits and repeat it back to you before this. I haven't had a panic attack since I don't know when, and no more 'brain freezes' where I couldn't speak because I couldn't access the words to articulate myself. So I am pretty passionate about this stuff. I would say a word of caution however. it is not permanent. I went through a year where I was under extreme stress doing a house reno/flip. I wasn't eating badly. But food is only one part of health. I had sleep deprevation, working 11 hour days with no breaks for months on end, handling chemicals (including lead dust), and almost going broke (like $30 in the bank broke and bills in the $1000's). And followed that up with a round of antibiotics. I reversed a lot of what I had done. I am still trying to regain my health from that.

@@anythingorigional Wow you have done a lot of work on your health. Congratulations! Yes I agree that you have to be careful, as supplements and diet aren't going to fix bad lifestyle habits or other stresses in your life. They will help you cope, but you have to resolve other issues. Have you looked into zinc deficiency or pyroluria? I've also recorded a video on zinc deficiency. Zinc is very helpful for people on the autism spectrum (and helps to detox lead too). Thanks again for your comments, and I hope this KZread channel will be helpful for you. @@anythingorigional Firstly I would double check the dose of the zinc liquid that you are taking. Are you taking the recommended elemental zinc dose that I suggested in the video (25-70mg depending on weight and zinc deficiency)? Pyroluria, a condition that runs in families, can lead to mental health and a tendency to loose zinc (and vitamin B6), especially when stressed. Zinc should help even when you have high copper.

Great video but I want everyone to know that brain fog isn’t always connected to the gut. Brain fog can be caused by SO many other things as well. You could be having a highly stressful time in your life and sometimes as a defense mechanism, your nervous system can become sensitized. Make sure you get your digestive track and microbiome cleared first then simply focus on a great diet, things you enjoy and DISTRESSING! You’re body will always heal itself.

Just make sure to take it in capsules, bc it's very alkaline, can stain things yellow and is incredibly bitter. It is not true that you shouldn’t have bacteria in the small intestine, its just a dysbiosis. The bacteria also DO NOT make their way up to the small intestine. Dr. Pimentel talks about this, he used to say that they make their way up, but has changed his thinking on this. He talks about it as a motility issue for people who have had food poisoning and whose motility may not be functioning normally.

Hello Janelle I am Deny, thank you so much for your video! I’ve been strangling with these issues for almost 2 days, it started with real bad dizziness one day I woke up I felt something is wrong with my head, it was getting worse and worse, the brain fog was extremely bad, I’ve tried many things, one of those was acupuncture which I was doing for almost 4 month and it worked out well for me but still has not removed all symptoms ,, I still feel fatigue and feel very sleepy during the day! I’ve come to the decision that it also comes from the problem with the neck and spinal cord , I did MRI and found out I had osteoporosis, disc protruding which jam the spinal cord nerves, so I have been visiting osteopath for many many times and it helped for a while then brain fog returns.. I was focused on my back and my neck and I was sure the problem comes from there, then I started to have back pain in my low back , bad depression and so low mood. My family suggested to visit psychologist she prescribed several things such as anti depressants which I just started to take. Feel better. Before the brain fog, I had problem with my gut for about 1 year it was blowing up so much., I was on diet and after 1 year all cleared up then in a while I started to have brain fog one day. Forgot to say that I have little noise in my ears,,, also no matter how much I sleep I always feel sleepy, tired and fatigue. So I suggest I try your advise and see how that work out for me. Thank you for reading if you read it to the end. Regards from Ukraine. Deny

Can all of my symptoms be relative to this and trying your advise and foodmap diet will help I think so? What I also noticed that when my brain is rather clear and after eating something , I start to have brain fog,, especially natural black coffee! And having said that I had stomach issue and blowing up guts for almost year , it could be the reason ! And what about if I don’t eat anything for 1-2 days just to see if it has something to do with food ( it’s not hard for me ) or it’s not the right way to diagnose?!

@@OswaldDigestiveClinic Thank you for this information. My main issue has been fat digestion. My ileocecal valve including 40cm of intestine was removed. So where Bile would normally be reabsorbed into my system doesn't happen. The bile goes into the colon, and causes diarrhea. For this I take a bile binder called cholestyramine. Literally 2 days ago started taking OX Bile. Will also be trying Lipase supplements to help the fat breakdown. Especially as I'd like to start a keto diet eventually. Something else that happens easily is that the Bacteria from the colon can easily go into the small intestine. Not sure what to do about this either. If you have any tips in this area, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Interestingly , I seem to develop constipation in the mornings after my 1st visit to the bathroom and around the time that I am about to leave for work. By this time i would have finished breakfast also. I would have bloating as well. Brain fog is a recent phenomenon with me. But I also seem to develop tightness of neck muscles and shoulders. This will only go away after my next visit to the bathroom. Is there a connection between the gut and cervical muscles area ? Thank you in advance for your reply.

What you describe is maldigestion. Food enters your large intestine without being properly processed before. That feeds the wrong kind of bacteria, which explains the smell and feeling intoxicated and foggy (those bacteria also produce stuff that make you feel bad). You eat the wrong stuff and/or eat it the wrong way and/or your digestion is messed up. E.g. eat too fast and often, e.g.eat mostly fast food without legumes, e.g. suffer from lack of stomach acid. If you follow general advice on nutrition (salads, legumes, medium size portions, chew 20+ times, pay attention to your meal, no food 3 hours before bed time, sweets and sugar only once a day), then you might see quick improvements over 4 days or so. Good luck! Healing is the way of our body :)

Yes and its been around for the start of creation in age of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati billions of years and scientifically been proven during Ram avatar time 1.7million years ago where plastic surgery of nose was done to surpanka, ravanas sister, when her nose was chopped off and where where they still use the same plastic surgical techniques even now with the same surgical instruments and skin taken from same areas of body among all other major surguries , science, economics, business, geometry, spirtuality, Languages, flying vimanas( machines ), atomic weapons, first worlds toilet system, soaps, zero, quantam physchics, astrology , planets, vastu, eure, meridian points, energy medicine, pythagoras theorem renamed from an Indian guy 100yers prior work a different name, etc etc herbal medicine, laser technology used in temples and buildings, etc etc etc taught by our gurus to the rest of the world in the very first university which was India teaching all subjects and Knowledge as they were guided by above God to help evolve the rest of humanity, as the world needed to progress forward. Its a shame what was given by India where all these practices took place and source of knowledge and books with scientific proofs and studies of millions of patients and machines and equipment ,books, and studies of all our inventions were taken away or burnt during various invasions and just renamed as otherwise with patients again and with no respect, appreciation and royalties given to India the root source of this knowledge. Modern medicine is only 200 years old and uses all same tools and techniques of ayuveda even today for brain, heart, eye surgery, dental treatment etcetc among so many other things including holistic medicine yoga space, Buddhism, meditation, chess, snakes and ladders games etc etc at least in western world proved and hidden as 4000 years old only when Its at least carbon dated 1.7 million years old and still its not given its due respect and acceptance of real truth and instead there has been so much ignorance & belittling of us and we have been made to feel inferior. India was the richest and most advanced civilisation with soft kind hearts to share knowledge and truth. India 's major contribution to the world is hidden and Most westerners are not aware that they used millions of Indians in the front line first before their soldiers for the first world war and even more in second world war and there is no respect shown to the use of our soldiers but they have the statues of our animals used in their war. Additionally all their clothing, cottons, animals food, money, horse elephants, among hundreds of others things were taken from India to fund their nation of food during all their world wars including making all of their uniforms& weapons materials were made India. Its sad this was at the cost forced starvation and deaths of 2.1 -3 million Indians in just Bengal not accounting the whole country ( children, the old, mothers , pregnant women, ) all people starved to death because all the food was taken from them to create food stock pile by the invaders in to of their nations food at death of Indians. I hope the real truth and respect is shown accepted & appreciated by the world & this real true knowledge taught in real history in all schools from India n UK and Indians can be proud of themselves and aware of the sufferings of their great grandparents sacrifices for our freedom and citizenship.

I may try the FODMAP diet next.

My pleasure. You may want to check out my two videos on mthfr. They discuss a genetic link to depression and how to compensate for the glitch in the biochemistry and therefore how to treat and overcome depression. How are you feeling now? Any improvements?

Did you see the info about the saccharomyces boulardii probiotic? You asked a question on another video about probiotics. This is what I'd recommend. Links found in the description I think for some

Thank you for this information. I was diagnosed years ago with "functional hypoglycemia" (which the newer doctor now calls "reactive hypoglycemia"). I struggle with it by avoiding sugar as best I can and eating very frequently. I must carry food with me everywhere. I am 77 years old and have lived with this for 40 some years. One of my biggest problems these days is interrupted sleep from the tremendous amount of farting all night. I have to eat a full meal just before going to bed so that I don't have to get up and eat during the night. You have given me new information to look into
