That's great advice. Thanks so much for sharing! I live in an area where no one really does any pool stuff, so I'm on my own with most of it. Thanks again!

Thank you! This video has been incredibly helpful as we’re watching the “professionals” pour our coping. If they DID NOT brace the forms as you show, how can we remove those wavy undulations from our (now cured) cantilever edge?

That's a tough one, once the concrete is cured the only real option is to use an angle grinder diamond wheel to correct the shape. This will work, but it'll look deferent on the areas that you grind. If you don't mind the look of the ground concrete, you could grind the entire coping. If you end up doing this, make to apply some concrete sealer to the coping to protect it. This could be a lot of work depending on how bad the problem is. You could also apply an overlay product to the coping after you have the shape the way you want it. This would help it look more like the rest of the slab. Hopefully this helps, thanks for watching!!!

In our experience gravel has always worked well. But always check with your pool builder to see what they recommend. Thanks for watching!

When removing the forms I assume the wire is still present. Do you just snip it off flush and continue on with finishing the edge?

These specific wire ties have a "weak spot" a few inches from the face so that when you remove the forms, you can twist them off and they easily break off inside the concrete! Thanks for watching!👍 you can actually see the weak spot in the video at 1:08

For the weak spot in the tie wire, did they account for the three-quarter inch 1x board?
