Damn,i was so inspired this morning to do this myself come spring. After watching this,im gonna go ahead n get a loan and cough up the 15-20 grand to get this done 😔

I had a 10x24 salt vinyl water pool installed last summer. We’re trying to DIY coping and small patio around the pool. Any tips or recommendation on coping? I’m a bit concern about safety along the edges of the coping. Are there soft coping? Or in general the only options is pavers or concrete coping?

You made it look easy nice forms saves time although i dont think they are reuseable cost of labor to clean them must be pretty close to just buying new ones plus the owner is paying. Spraying disel on them should help keepem clean i would spray before installing to avoid excess disel in water area

So how did you clean the pool water after you were done? Seems like placing a liner on top of the water would have been easier. Does this system allow for replacement of the pool liner?

My fiber glass pool has hallow spots underneath - (we have not poured concrete yet ) is this normal ? Or should of kid it be solid with the dirt and rocks underneath ??

what happens when small cracks form in coping and rebar inside rusts? good luck with that.

How do you address inside and inside 90° or 45° corners? If you have to miter cut the form liner how do you cut it?

Whatever degree cut you need, you can make it with circular saw. That would only be square pools though. Most pool these days are radius somewhere or another. Most cantilever forms I've ever done either snaps together at the butts, or stick together, then you apply wite to hold in place, then duct tape to seal your butt lines as one peice. Just trying help ya, not trying act like I know it all.

Do the receiver tracks stay in after pouring coping on concrete pools?

he made a mess in that pool that is why I blue tape 1" pink foam around the perimeter of the pool then toss a 2mill plastic over the entire pool and tape it down to the foam. a little extra set up time saves you on clean up and never worry about the concrete burning the liner

Mine is waiting for the concrete to get poured next week and as I'm watching this video I'm thinking "damn,they're gonna ruin the water " . I hope they use your set up technique

My pool would cost $3500 just for the receiver track that becomes a permanent unattractive part of the coping. It is an effective product and, judging by your prices, you are very proud of it.

@@ZCounterform1 You are charging $535 for 8 feet. That means my coping form will cost $6420 for a 32x16 pool.. No way no how..

@@ZCounterform1 Ahh.. that is much better.. Perhaps, and I'm just guessing here.. you should write that next to the price and not in the second paragraph of the description. I mean it says 96" for $535...in BOLD. then in the description, second paragraph it says there are 8 in the pack. $1,200 for the moulding though.. (only one per pack, right) So still about $2,000 for the mold for coping on a 32x16 pool? Thats a lot of big bullnose pavers worth..

rough as guts , all the concrete and cement dust that went into pool

Right bro... i was clamping my jaw as he was throwing the release in the pool, if you look closely a little of it hits the stamp. Lol looks nicw all in all but my company isnt into hiring a pool cleaner afterwards to finish a job.

Last but not least, drain the pool and clean it! Wow... that concrete contractor was hella sloppy and lazy!!
