How To Pour Concrete Around a Pool Using Z Poolforms (Easy Forming System)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

#EverythingAboutConcrete #MikeDayConcrete #Zpoolform
In this video I'm forming, pouring, and finishing a 1000 square foot concrete pool deck.
We're using Z poolforms to form the inside pool coping. This forming system is the easiest I have used to form copings.
We've used these same forms to pour many pool decks as you can use them over and over again.

I love that you explained tooled joints vs saw cut. I hate hearing so often that saw cutting is for hacks who don't know what they are doing.

I agree, we do both. Mostly saw.

Tooling the edge after broiling… does it leave a slight ridge at the broom/smooth interface? Are you able to knock it down without disturbing the brim finish? Thx

  • @MikeDayConcrete

No ridge when we do it, but it could if you don't really know what you're doing.

Can you and have you used those forms on fiberglass pools ? How well does that work ? Thx

Yes, you certainly can. We have a Receiver Track that gets fastened to the top of the pool first in order to hold the Poolforms in place. You can see a full deck our on a fiberglass pool here - kzread.info/dash/bejne/epx1tZKLgZWdm5M.html

Yes you can. I got a video coming up about that. Basically works the same, we had to screw on our receiver strip for the only difference.
