Des Ding ist das es schön gemacht ist wenn es unbenutzt ist und ausgebaut.. Hab erst vor 2 wochen 3 achsen alle backen mit Trommeln neu gemacht

One's with bolt in centre of axle on step decks can be a nightmare if the hub is rusted on on first reline.. Done loads of those too. Still a good axle with very few bearing failures. 1,250,000 kms.

What is that tool for putting the anchor clips ( the c shaped clips that the shoes sit on ) On and off as I find they can be difficult at times

that's way more work than the brakes I've done seen

Great setup the only problem youl have with them will come from neglect from other fitters not lubing the stub before refitting, then they become a problem to get off. Not like saf hubs they never come off the bast#$@s. Would love to work for bpw!

What is name of tool you remove hubo cap ( the first tool he used) and what size is that? Any help would be highly appreciated

Hi! It is a BPW bump key. For workshops we recommend a socket wrench, which is available from third party suppliers, e.g. KSTools EAN 4042146754429 and which can also be used to adjust the torque. Cheers!

I have a little different model but very similar. The worst axes I've ever had. Everything is good while new. Best Saf and Mercedes.

@@BPWBergischeAchsen they can wait till a saf hub gets stuck on and have to pay the £1000 for the saf hub puller!

Never had an issue with Daimler but saf hubs are a nightmare the suspension set up is durable though I will give them that.

Trust me backplate bolts never come out that easy lol. I've done thousands

Thank you very much for your interest in our products and your feedback. We guess, you are talking about an old problem caused by probably corrosion of screws used for fitting of dust cover plate. Meanwhile we use different type of screws and nuts with Geomet® and/or Dacromet® coating to provide a long-term corrosion protection and easy dissembling in case of service. Moreover an important quality feature of our products is cataphoretic dip-coating with zinc-phosphating (KTLZn), a special surface finish that provides 5 times more effective corrosion protection than the conventional painting processes. Today from axle to the complete suspension with frame, all products from BPW receive a series KTL-coating.

Pity they don't come blathered in lube from the factory .Great running gear. Wouldn't use anything else

They come as a complete hub unit already greased just put it on click/locking tab your away.

Wait until they have done 500,000kms then get them off. Ive seen me have to smash the hub cabs off never mind and the rest haha

Wow. Wir haben Kupferpaste vor 10 Jahren das letzte Mal benutzt. Euer Unternehmen scheint in mancher Hinsicht aber nicht gerade auf den neusten Stand zu sein.

Полный бред крепления задней части колодки!!!!через 30-50 т,км колодки вывернет.я делаю не так и перевариваю колодки Почему не сделат на заводе более надежную схему????

Quick change? I can change old style brakes faster then this is taking..😂🤣 and you don’t show replacing the wheel seal, you can’t put it back together with the same seal, it would leak oil
