In modern boxing, the slope to the right is reduced to an inclination, if we talk about the left-handed stance of a right-hander, and no one does a slope to the left at all. The reason for this is the boxer's heavily deployed pelvis. In this position, the body subconsciously realizes that it will not have time to perform the twisting and will inevitably come under attack. And few people remember about the jumpy movement of the legs, starting with the right leg (we are talking about a right-handed person), located behind. In my coaching practice, I came to the conclusion that a full-fledged pendulum, a defensive movement that performs the same functions as a slope, should be given only after mastering the slope. The reason lies in the angle of rotation of the pelvis, which in the pendulum is about 15 degrees less than the slope. But if you start practicing a counterattack immediately from the pendulum, then the effectiveness decreases, and this is due to the angle of rotation, the amplitude of movement of the pelvis and the whole body. Having mastered the slope, where the amplitude of the pelvic twisting is maximum (about 25-30 degrees) and the responses following it, you can easily transfer this to the pendulum. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that we are talking about an accentuated blow, a body blow from which the opponent falls to the floor, even if he uses stands as protection. A good example is Mike Tyson, who punched through rivals. The only salvation from such blows are defensive movements that allow you to completely remove your head from the line of impact. I often hear reviews about boxing as a fight. As I believe, the point is the low technical level of the fighters. There is no limit to perfection!!! I recommend practicing the slopes in 2 racks. This is useful for coordination, neural connections of the brain and the frontal position of the pelvis, which is regulated by changing racks. The interest and attention are full of success!!!
