Very interesting. Fun to see a unique plant.

I love my climbing onion. I grow it in a South window on my sunporch where It dips into the upper 50s at night. Very easy to grow

I worked in a greenhouse in Massachusetts and they had some pretty impressive ones for sale.

To mutiply it you have to take off a "slice" of the onion, let it dry 1 or 2 days, and plant it in 1cm. By chance maybe a baby onion will appear on it in the coming weeks

if you're in Canada i got mine from Phoenix perennials via Mail.. it was around 20 dollars if i remember correctly.

@@PlantzNThings I'm in France I got mine 13cm diameter in a big pot, in a Garden center 50€. Originally at 100€ what I refused, I negociated a better price as I knew they would never sell it at 100€. They proposed 75€, I refused. Few weeks after it was at 50€ which is a good price for a 13cm Bowiea. It made me 3 other Bowieas :) As they were too big I sold 2 when they were too 13cm diameter. So I still have 2 + a baby :) You could also be interested in Dioscorea elephantipes :) I have one
