#string of #pearls (Senecio relearns), also known by various names such as Rosary Vine, Bead #plant, or String of Beads, are unique #succulents with pea-shaped green #leaves . These leaves grow on trailing stems that beautifully hang over the edges of #pots . You can use these stems for #propagation . While the growth rate of this plant is fast, its lifespan without propagation is short.
Although commonly kept as hanging plants around the world, in their natural habitat, String of Pearls grow along the ground, covering the soil. The best time to plant these succulents is during the warmer seasons. In addition to their unique spherical leaves, String of Pearls produce small white flowers with a pleasant cinnamon-like fragrance in spring. However, they rarely #bloom #indoors .
