BOWHUNTING GIANTS | ARCHERY BROWN BEAR HUNT IN ALASKA | UP CLOSE | AS REAL AS IT GETS | GRIZZLY EP 6

Спорт

This is a bowhunt in Alaska for one of the biggest predators in North America, the AK Peninsula Brown Bear or Ursus Arctos. Follow along on another epic adventure bowhunting brown bears in Alaska with guide Tim Winslow. A lot of action, bears getting a little too close for comfort and stalks that didn't go our way...We finally got up close and personal on a big brown bear and Will arrowed him at around 20 yards...bowhunting is all about grinding it out and never giving up.

I was rate there the whole time! Guide you showed me what a true guide is! The way you stuck with getting that hunter in close , the commitment better than I’ve ever seen! Hunter you did great stick with it till it happened also great that you stuck to your BOW! You could have easily grabbed a gun and ended it earlier! Great will power to both of you! Congrats on a fine bear and memory experience you would have a hard time topping!

A couple questions: Can you kill a brown bear with one clean arrow? I assume yes but want it confirmed:) What specs is your bow? That is how fast do the arrows travel and how much do they weigh? I can calculate the ke (joules) from those stats. And lastly what would you consider the minimum specs to reliably put down a brown bear assuming a clean hit? Thank you. 😊

People typically blend game meat with other meat during processing, although the best parts are used for steaks and roasts. It's just like beef, different parts of the animal are appropriate for different recipes. Yes, people eat bear meat.

Beautiful hunt guys. Congratulations I have a request from someone that will never be able to do one of these hunts. 28 minutes into a 31 minute hunt. You get the shot and then it’s over. As a fellow hunter (of smaller animals) this has been done a million times. Can y’all change it up a bit and show when the ‘work’ begins? The stuff you don’t get to see unless your there. I personally would love to see how you break down a thousand pound animal and get it back to your camp or, if that’s even how it’s done. I know with black bears the size of the skull and teeth tells a lot about the age of the animals. Is that the same with grizzlies? It sure looks like an amazing place to see and I do understand it’s a lot of hiking. Please don’t take offense to my question. I don’t think I’m the only one that would love to see that. Congratulations again
