BOWHUNTING GIANTS | ARCHERY BROWN BEAR HUNT IN ALASKA | UP CLOSE | AS REAL AS IT GETS | GRIZZLY EP 6
Спорт
This is a bowhunt in Alaska for one of the biggest predators in North America, the AK Peninsula Brown Bear or Ursus Arctos. Follow along on another epic adventure bowhunting brown bears in Alaska with guide Tim Winslow. A lot of action, bears getting a little too close for comfort and stalks that didn't go our way...We finally got up close and personal on a big brown bear and Will arrowed him at around 20 yards...bowhunting is all about grinding it out and never giving up.

He made some noise after he shot it causing the bear to look right at him. That could of got real interesting had the bear went towards the noise!
Normal weather for the fall peninsula!! Gotta love it !!😀👍good bear, great guide. Perseverance PAYS!!
Excellent. Brought back cherished memories of my dad and I hunting the Peninsula on 2 different drop off hunts for 21 days a piece. So much fun. No substitute for the beauty on the peninsula and some giant bears.
I was rate there the whole time! Guide you showed me what a true guide is! The way you stuck with getting that hunter in close , the commitment better than I’ve ever seen! Hunter you did great stick with it till it happened also great that you stuck to your BOW! You could have easily grabbed a gun and ended it earlier! Great will power to both of you! Congrats on a fine bear and memory experience you would have a hard time topping!
Congratulations, that's a beautiful bear! Patience paid off.
Super fun to watch!
Love it when it's a great clean pass though and the bear looks around like what just happened.Great video 👍
Well done! Congratulations and thanks for sharing the hunt with us.
Great hunt! The quality of this video and hunt is as incredible as you guys!
Hunting is one of the few things that staying positive and confident yields a higher success rate, losing hope or confidence starts the doubt and then the cold creeps in and your mind defeats you.
Tim And Billy Mills are probably the best guides also John in Alaska that I know of!!!
Perseverance and patience! Good work.
Great footage!
At 16:00 minute mark, how phenomenal he can smell is soooo amazing!!!! Literally tasting the wind!!! Man that's incredible. And that sunrise in the background 😲😲🙏❤️❤️🤟🇺🇸
Way to go on a beautiful bear. You guys are very smart & ethical bow hunters. I commend you on backing out when conditions aren't right & not rushing things. That is probably one of the hardest things in bow hunting Awesome job!!
Awesome hunt I’m sure your hearts were pounding
Hats off man congrats to you guys

Great footage. I was there during october and it was horrible weather.
great video keep it up
Top notch hunting there! This video convinced me I need to go back! Always loved the Peninsula! Congratulations to everyone for a perfect hunt. You packed out the meat? My guide said it’s nasty! I wanted at least a taste, he said NO!
Great job ...... it is not at all easy ........ 🙂
AWESOME 👍👍👍
Wow that was cool
I had nothing else to do on the 4th of July Except watch this video! It's the best video I've seen in a long time and that was an awesome shot. A lot of patience! And you took the shot exactly when I would have as well! Great timing.
Beautiful Bears Just Beautiful
Good shoting bro
that huge bear got my heart beat going high lol 😅
Awesome job buddy, glad you are getting these on camera..
Another nice bear taken from an Alaskan Resident.
Thanks for sharing your successful hunt
The guide did all the work. The "hunter" just followed him clumsily. Mad respect to the guide!

Alot of respect for the hunter there to, I never heard him complain or even get loud, and he never lagged behind he was right in the guides lap the whole time waiting for those magic words, "Draw your Bow" and he did, didn't rush it, and made a hell of a good shot 😮
Love Alaska To Death Such A Beautiful Beautiful Place
How do you prepare brown bear? I always heard it wasn't very good.
No judgement, just curious why the second shot was muted

Any time an archer says 'money' you know they watch Cam Hayes.
I would love to hire you for a bear hunt
WOW that is big brown bear. Does one arrow kills such big bear?
Can I come shoot with you guys, I'm an army infantryman and have always wanted to hunt something big like that??
one time bear will win i hope
A couple questions: Can you kill a brown bear with one clean arrow? I assume yes but want it confirmed:) What specs is your bow? That is how fast do the arrows travel and how much do they weigh? I can calculate the ke (joules) from those stats. And lastly what would you consider the minimum specs to reliably put down a brown bear assuming a clean hit? Thank you. 😊
Do you have any archery hunts for 22 available?

... Hunt without the rifle backup. Then I'll be impressed
Quartered?? Got the meat?? Most brown bears are not eaten am I correct?? I mean I'm very glad to hear it's being used and I'm very curious to see what it looks like cooked up. I've read it tastes foul and fishy tasting.

People typically blend game meat with other meat during processing, although the best parts are used for steaks and roasts. It's just like beef, different parts of the animal are appropriate for different recipes. Yes, people eat bear meat.
곰이 회살 한 방에 죽다니 놀랍네요. 😀

thank you for watching...it was all a test you won the golden ticket
Beautiful hunt guys. Congratulations I have a request from someone that will never be able to do one of these hunts. 28 minutes into a 31 minute hunt. You get the shot and then it’s over. As a fellow hunter (of smaller animals) this has been done a million times. Can y’all change it up a bit and show when the ‘work’ begins? The stuff you don’t get to see unless your there. I personally would love to see how you break down a thousand pound animal and get it back to your camp or, if that’s even how it’s done. I know with black bears the size of the skull and teeth tells a lot about the age of the animals. Is that the same with grizzlies? It sure looks like an amazing place to see and I do understand it’s a lot of hiking. Please don’t take offense to my question. I don’t think I’m the only one that would love to see that. Congratulations again

Sometimes a bush plane is on its way to pick you up and you have to put the camera down to get the work done or you will be stranded on a beach for a month in 60MPH winds and sideways rain.

Nope. Perfect shot placement. Aim for about 4 inches forward of the middle of the middle on bears. Their lungs are further back than many animals. And it died in seconds! What are you judging his shot placement by?!!
Qual a moral e o orgulho de matar um animal lindo e indefeso desse com um tiro, para mim uma grande covardia.

Nahhh I don’t like this stuff. No good reason to be torturing and killing a bear. I have a couple of acquaintances that hunt. They are high in sociopathy. Low in empathy. And you can’t trust them for a second
