Great rules explanation as usual Edward. You seem to have a fantastic path of attack to make rules explanations flow well and still manage to cover every detail to a tee.

I really appreciate that, Christopher. I put a lot of work into being prepared for the teaching, so it's great to hear that folks are finding value in it and it's coming through as intended. Cheers!

One of my favorite games. I enjoy the depth of gameplay, I love how colorful it is, and it is consistently under $30 on Amazon. The orange god mini expansion adds a bit more dice mitigation if needed.

Excellent teacher. 2 Feld Masterpieces Trajan and Bora Bora . COB a close 3rd.

Nice playtrough! This does not come out nearly as much as Castles of Burgundy, but I like it a lot. Lots of decisions and IMHO an underrated Feld.

Glad you enjoyed it, jankogo! I still feel it's the heaviest of Feld's games and while not my favorite, it's worth checking out. Cheers!

not to be a bore, but the shells are 'money cowry'. i lived on the pacific island of guam as a kid for a bit, and cowry were indeed used as currency by pacific islanders. at low tide, we could go and scoop up a bunch of them. the size of them is about the same size as shown in-game. just a tad bigger.

You should try Luna - probably his most underrated game. Zero randomness, tons of choices and no point-salad feeling at all.

About the comment about man and woman tiles being wiped off. I play by the rules, but have next 2 sets of w&m tiles visible next to the board so you know what's coming.

Hello. What happens if I want to place more huts from on field 12? Which accumulated. What are rules?

At 1:34:48 did Mike actually do the green god bonus twice? As in taking two women actions and doubling the second pair as well? It is not for nitpicking purposes but a genuine question, I was under the impression that you do only one or the other.

Just went back and watched that sequence and yup, you are 100% correct. What Mike did should have taken 2 Green gods to pull off. He should have only taken the second woman action or doubled one of them. Great catch and sorry about that, Timox_!

Heavy Cardboard It's all good. Great playthrough, been waiting for it since the original stream to make sure I've got the rules right before bringing it to the table.

+Heavy Cardboard: Just to add, Mike couldn't have actually used 2 Green Gods to pull off what he did. The rules specify that you may only play one Green God (at most) in Phase B.
