Burns showed he had weaknesses, he does have a good chin, but seriously Burns was able to put him down with on punch, Usman was able to get up from his takedown, he also seems to gas out in later rounds, so if he fights Bo for 5 Rds his streak could be over…only time will tell.

Six months ago I said Bo couldn't take Chimaev yet and needed another three fights first. I take it back. After seeing how fast Chimaev gets gassed, Bo just needs to get through the first round and then he'll wrestle F him for the next 3 - 4 rounds.

Bo definitely believes what he’s saying, but there are a lot of MMA experiences he has not faced. Dude has much to learn and is going to get an education probably sooner rather than later. He took that same swagger to Gordon Ryan and got handled like at kitten despite Ryan having like 3 handicaps. Bo has fought nothing but cans. Any elite D1 wrestler should be able to do the same without much trouble. Chimaev is not is not like that though. Bo thinks he can strike. All he does is hit guys standing there terrified of a TD. Get a guy in there who can match or neutralize that threat and Bo is gonna learn as much about hands and knees as he did about a triangle chokes against Ryan.

@@JyroOne yes, with more rules makes more limits within what you can do in a match so it makes it more difficult in a sense when it comes to fighting terms. I have spent time in martial arts growing up and did points fighting and Full Contact and there’s a huge difference in limits, and when you set more limits, it makes it more difficult to win a match so he did quite well against Gordon Ryan, with all the limits held in the match

Not really. Pretty much the same level. One is more Russian style upperbody wrestler, the other more American style lowerbody wrestler. It depends who can impose their game. My bet is: it's going to be a 5 round striking battle!

To the best of my knowledge Khamzat has never once commented on Bo’s wrestling. Is it because he is the embodiment of humility or is it because he is not confident that his wrestling is better? I think the latter because World class grapplers are incredibly competitive almost by definition

Bo doesn't understand that while he might have better straight up wrestling, Khamzat is so fucking strong and can actually strike really well. Bo has never been hit by someone who hits like Khamzat.

Ppl that haven't seriously dedicated their lives to fighting and wrestling have no idea just how good Bo really is, and how much potential he has. Unfortunately he'll probably get the Suga treatment and take the slower road to the top dogs. I say by the end of 2024 this fight will happen or be scheduled to happen. I also say Bo will be too much for Khamzat! I say he'll over power him and dominate with far superior endurance. Bo Nickal will be the 185lbs champ like 24 months from now. Hopefully it'll work out that thse two savages fight regardless.

Chimaev used to be such a rising star. It feels like the guy hasn’t fought in damn ages. Izzy has lost and regained a belt and then some while this guy beats some small names, misses weight like an amateur and then disappears for years. I would love for Chimaev to be this amazing fighter, it would be awesome, but he’s been doing nothing for so long now.

Khamzat looked like he matured a lot in his fight vs Usman. Didn't take unnecessary risk like vs Burns. Paced himself well. A mature, experienced Khamzat is very dangerous. He would run through Bo at this moment. Bo needs a little more experience like Khamzat needed.

It’s always funny to watch NCAA wrestling fans when they start watching MMA for the first time. They forget that several other elite class Olympians didn’t fare out so well in their MMA careers. Honestly don’t think this fight is one sided. Very competitive on paper. Two non strikers with punching power who will stand up most likely. If it goes to the ground, I see Bo having the advantage wrestling.
