Great stuff. Particularly like the last meet shot of 4314 passing the end of the container train. Great timing.

As Vice President to the topic Atchison, Topeka and SantaFe Railway Company my great great grandpa built this line. I just scanned a photo of him in 1921 walking the tracks while it was still being built.

Never saw this tunnel before. Some foresight way back in 1923, a tunnel tall enough for the future. Squealing was great.

So this was before the 'trailer blades' became popular on trucks? I was over these earlier this month and the truck trailers all seem to be fitted with the curtains (fuel saving device?). Nice video!

Not really for saving fuel more for saving life it's to help prevent cars from going under the trailer in a crash.

Interstesting that they didn't just decide to cut slot instead of tunneling. There does not seem to be that much material to be removed vs. the complexity of tunneling

Kirk Lonnquist It lies between Ranch lands, Indian reservation and BNSF Property. There is a reason theres hardly any videos of this area. ;)

Imagine how busy this line is even more since President Trump got elected and deregulated a lot of stuff (business friendly).

Well, how about that for a precise statement? "deregulated a lot of stuff", mind to elaborate what exactly he deregulated that boosted traffic on this route? And how much busier than before is this route today, any numbers on that?
