Yea, H/K have two woofers underneath each front seat, though it lacks some highs the bass is ridicoulous. Though B&O is the best system for heavy bass

I've got the Harman/kardon sound system in my BMW and I'm very satisfied with it!

@@Sierra_mike Weird.. I play almost full volume everyday to work and home for 1 year since it was new and I have not had any problems at all

This is probably one of the best factory systems ever. They Put a ton of engineering into the subs that sit under the seats that even have there own enclosures instead of free air. There crystal clear and have a really nice Balanced sound. You have to turn on that logic 7 mode and just adjust the treble and bass 2 notches below max and your good.

SpeakerFreak 2004 Camry LE got some nice factory speakers too why I know that because I use the car to play music omg way better than my dad 2016 Honda Odyssey ex speakers because when I play some epicenter songs not max but it sound like there is an $1,000 subwoofer setup I do want to get one but the car waste too much gas

@@TheUnPlayable it is, the sound system in the model 3 is pretty darn good. very tight bass with no distortion and overall pretty balanced audio with built-in spotify. probably one of the best sound system I've ever heard. but not the best tho, volvos have the best sound system ever imo

i have old x3 with harman kardon, f30 lci with harman kardon and the new x3 with harman kardon .... this new x3 is by far ...faaaar the best tuned harman kardon system of all three. very clear sound.

Dev Shah sorry not familiar with Kia cars. In general the Harman Kardon is a very refined and sweet sounding system. Its highly likely that you will enjoy it if you like the sound in this video.

Read a lot of the comments below. I have a 435d Grand Coupe with this system inside. Have been driving it for nearly three years and believe me, this video does not do it justice. I have two big Pioneer monitor speakers on my desk so most things on KZread will sound good. Listen to this on your tablet or phone, then........................ The system is amazing, especially when it's put into surround sound mode. You have to hear it live. Having said all this, I take delivery of my new X3 in the summer. I've ordered it however with the normal BMW HiFi speakers. Why? Because the listening experience is very subjective. I have experienced both and the standard sound system in the X3 is very good. Lots of base, clear highes, good clarity all round.

Otto Love the car. It‘s fast and over here in Germany, at least on some stretches of the Autobahns, there are no speed limits. It’s an excellent daily and for long journeys. Th back seats. Are very „Bucket Like“ and not comfortable because of the sloping roof (to achieve more head-room). If you get it, you won’t be disappointed. 👍👍👍

The harman kardon and burmester are the best

Harman kardon is samsung with xiamoi and it is 3d party from mark levison ,jbl ,akg ,xiamoi for bass and some 3d party with dolby tune tech . You can see why samsung xiamoi and samsung has dolby.

The default system is actually terrible. Even this Harman Kardon is mediocre when compared to other premium systems like Mark Levinson or Burmeister.

Guys I have a 2011 335 with the hi fi system and it sounds amazing !!! Tons of base too!! And it’s Notneven the HK Bmw puts great Audio systems in their cars as long as not the base audio

Nothing beats a nice high end 12" sub in the trunk on a high end amp. Completely different bass frequency.

To be fair, audio tests are awesome and all, but unless you're physically there, a video won't capture it in the same quality. As far as the driving part goes, the windows in the 2018 x3 have an accoustic coating to help keep the sound loud inside and quiet from outside stuff.

I would say it is better because Harman Kardon is better than Burmester and this car has a few more speakers.

@@yecuzzHK is not allways better than Burmester. But the Burmester in the MB C class is not so good. No subwoofer is a big problem in the merc.But it cost not much. It is ok, but BMW is better. Now i hab B&W in my Volvo and this blows this HK in the BMW away.

Techno Man I do not know wich c-class you drive. I drove the last three models. The oldest has HK with paper speakers and a subwoofer. Sounds best. Than came HK with metal speakers, sounds not so good, but the subwoofer makes its job. The last one was equiped with Burmester. It looks best but sounds bad and has no subwoofer.

Mike Bafi yeah trust me dont upgrade. The newer harmon kardon to me actually sound better then that bowers and Wilkins. If your going to blow that much you could put a really amazing aftermarket sound system.
