I used to listen to nothing but Blue October when I was younger, then through life they faded out as I began to get very busy. I hadn't listened to them in years. I was flipping through the radio and caught the tail end of this song and I immediately was like, "Wait, is that Blue October?" Then in the past few days, I've been going back through and relistening to them. Catching up on songs I had missed. Just falling in love with them all over again.

I really like this group but I've been grooving to say the Beatles for 62 years. They never get old. Haven't changed my SIRIUS station 18 in five years. It's all Beatles 24/7.

The symbolic imagery and actual photos in the animation is mesmerizing... I love it. 🃏🧵🏔👗📸🔓🔪🦅 🧨Dark AF. On another positive note, the animation style is similar to Peter Gabriel’s Sledgehammer video - it’s flattering. Johnny Chew did a great job fitting Justin and his life into the story of this video.

Incredibly artistic. I could and WILL watch this 1000 times just to take it all in I'm always going to be a huge fan of BO. Been for 13 years now. Love the growth and progression of Justin specifically but the bands sound. When I was younger I related to the darker sound and message of blue October but being on the verge of turning 38years old, I can appreciate the mature transition of this band. I can't imagine listening to a miserable sad angry man at this age. I absolutely connect to this change of life yet acceptance of the past and not denying the past but embracing the past as reason for change. Such and inspiration. I wish more of the commenters were less focused on solving for “easter eggs” in videos, a relatively recent phenomenon designed by marketing departments to drive more clicks and views and sales. Justin Furstenfeld is an artist and his band members are artists and there is so much to experience in just listening and watching and letting yourself feel. There’s a large body of work and he is generous to share often the details and broader themes of his life. Their live concerts are the best, unmatched, and I’m saying that as somebody who has seen a lot of shows over the years in numerous genres. He’s all heart, and happy or sad, it’s right there for us to share. I, for one, am grateful. PS There’s a certain creepiness to this video that I like. I think it adds an edge to an otherwise happy song.
