Blue October's new single, “Oh My My” is taken from the band's forthcoming new album, 'This is What You Live For.' An anthem about the animal attraction from opposite sides of the tracks, “Oh My My” captures that magnetism and lets it loose inside a bottled-up and uncontrollable primal love song (“Girl, you get me high / Yeah, you’re my type / You’re danger danger.”). “These songs on this album should make you want to fall in love with somebody, or miss somebody, or want to do something outrageous with your life,” says Justin Furstenfeld.
"This new album is going to catch some people off-guard,” says bassist Matt Novesky of Blue October about their new album 'This Is What You Live For' (Up/Down-Brando Records). “We get into some corners of life that we haven’t explored before.”
In support of the album, the band will also be embarking on an extensive nationwide tour that begins in Beaumont, TX on March 13th and circles the States before returning to Austin, TX on June 27th
Blue October is vocalist Justin Furstenfeld, multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye, guitarist Will Knaak, bassist Matt Noveskey, and drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld.

Blue October is the best example of a band trending towards a more mainstream sound that still keeps their genuineness and it doesn’t feel forced. Justin is just happy now and you can feel it with every word and every note
Love it! the part that goes "it's going down/neither of us want to be/ alone right now" is amazing, the way the tone and melody of it.
Blue October songs has always been my "escape from reality" meditation song.. I'm now 32 and I've been listening to their songs since I was 13... I will be forever a number 1 fan of Blue October. - much love from the 🇵🇭

Since I heard "Hate Me" in 2006, I have never gone so crazy for a band so quickly and bought up all their music, and now, I have seen them more times than any other band. I even bought 18 copies of SWAY because my name is in the liner notes. Their music has helped me through so many bad times and one line from one of their songs just kept going through my head as I sat with my mother when she passed away (I can't explain the way I feel inside- from Light You Up). They can't seem to make a song that I don't like. For me, every song is excellent.

@@ghostpoems8847 blue October has been documenting their band experience for like, 7ish years now showing justins fall and recovery in what they're naming Get Back Up. They hit a speedbump a few years ago where their crowdsource campaign website went bankrupt and they didn't get most of the money that was raised, delaying the movie. The movie is now set to release may 15th, with a few Texas theatrical releases leading up to it. They should start touring this month to promote their documentary. I think there's a website up where you can order the documentary and signed copies right now at getbackupmovie dot com, but I imagine by release day they'll be selling it on their official store at blueoctober dot comcom.

So, have you listened to This Is What I Live For in its entirety, now that it has been out for a good few months? If so, I'm curious about how you feel about the album as a whole and each individual song!
Another song that pretty much plucks the feels right out of my head. Can he read my mind? Everything their albums have been saying all these years just happen to match what my life progression is like. Every album helps me at the exact right moment...wtf??? I’m pretty sure I would marry him yesterday.

And you have saved my life more times than I can count. I've also met one of best friends through your website, he lives many states away but you brought us together and I thank you so much for all of these things! ❤ I can't wait to see you guys again!
When my fiance and I first met this song was playing on the radio constantly. Now whenever one of us is feeling bad we'll send this song to instantly cheer the other one up. It's become our anthem.

He endured a lot as many of us do, and he expressed with music, the truth to what eats us up inside. I truly respect him for his journey. He gives hope to those who suffer and have suffered through pain and truama.

Yes!!! I went to a concert a couple of years ago and got to tell him thank you and then I hugged him. Justin is very nice and I live for his vibe and his music
I’m so proud of the man Justin has grown into. I’ve been a fan since day one. Foiled was the first cd I ever purchased for myself. I just love this band.
My love to this band keeps growing. They just never EVER disappoint.

They are really good live as well! If they're ever in your area I strongly recommend going to a concert, the fan participation is an experience in itself.
