I want to share with any brothers or sisters who see this that we will be rejoined with the martyrs, our beloved brothers and sisters, in the Kingdom. Let their sacrifice and faith remind us to not curse our task of turning away from worldly pleasure and enjoyment. What pleasure did they have? Stay strong and let us take up our crosses daily

We must stay strong even until death for our faith in Jesus Christ as those whom died all through history. We must not take the mark of the beast. Lord give your church the strength to endure what’s coming according to to Your word. ❤❤❤

After Nero died there was a War, “year of the four emperors”, and the dynastic family changed from the Julio-Claudians to the Flavians. The Flavians were not of senatorial or even equestrian rank and were therefore desperate to prove their imperial legitimacy. They embarked on a propaganda campaign to smear the Julio-Claudia’s emperors. All of Nero’s misdeeds are catalogued by Tacitus, Suetonius, Cassius Dio, and Josephus. All wrote under the direction of the Flavians, and were the primary instruments of this propaganda. A big clue as to what really happened is that the writings of Fabius Rusticus, the official court historian under Nero, did not survive. If we consider only contemporary sources, we are left with a much different picture: Nero was well-loved by his subjects, he was a talented artist, he was a great builder and the ancient Rome we imagine was completed by Nero. Nobody knows what really happened because we know the historical records are full of self-serving lies. There is no evidence of any Xian persecution by Nero. Put that in your pipe.

Hi. Why were the martyrs willing to die painfully when Jesus had said "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's"? (Mark 12:17). "Things" includes more than paying taxes, and as Jesus obviously agreed that Caesar had legitimate rights, why would any Christian deny Caesar "his things", or pay him lip-service at least? Cheers, P.R.

@@sweatyboi1575 Hi sweatyboi. By the "Taurus" do you mean "the Torah"? Christians in the time of Christ were seen as a sub-sect of Judaism, and were first called Christians at Antioch about 70 AD. (Acts 11:26) Cheers, P.R.
