Of course, Tara can sing. She just preferred to let someone else sing for Twilight Sparkle because the rest of the MLP voice actors perform together in Vancouver. It's more difficult to harmonize when recording remotely (although I'm not sure whether that would still be a factor in the case of solos, like this one).

I think that "mistake" was done on porpouse. The whole reason those things are ilegal in most countries is that the burning fuel tends to creates uncontroled fires when they eventually fall [just imagine the level of destruction a whole "fleet" of them released on a dense forest like The Everfree could do!].

Tetherball is a game where a ball attached to a rope that's tied to a vertical pole. and the object of the game is to get the rope wrapped around the pole as much as possible. Each person hits the ball, with their hands, opposite their opponent. The paper lantern thing is sorta like hot air balloons. The candle heats the air in the wax paper lantern and the air expands causing the upward lift. If memory serves, I believe the Chinese were the inventors of the floating paper lanterns.

the whole lanturns flying thing was done in Tangled as well - however i believe the way it should work is they have tops on them to make the air from the candle lift them up but the ones they make here literally should not be able to fly - MLP logic

That's a good point, I never really thought about that, I just see Spike and associate him with all versions of Spike, I mean let's be honest, Equestria Girls Mane 6 are all very similar to their pony counterparts, same personalities just different lives.

The Statue was cracked in the Last Movie, remember? When Twilight went Midnight Sparkle her first attack was blasting the Statue and opening the first portal into Equestria. The ending is showing that even tho Sunset closed all the portals, and Saved Twilight, the Statue Portal was cracked and Magic is leaking out of it. And if you've ever read the Comics, you would know that that could be very very bad for BOTH worlds. ps. Also the 3 movies rumors were 3 full 2 hour movies. I believe it was 3 very short 'movies' about 20-30 mins long I think. Been still waiting, so I don't know if the rumor was true or not, of if it was and they canclled it for reasons. *shrugs*

why all the hating on Filthy? He ain't evil its just business, you can't expect to keep something you can't pay for. He even extended the pay time to the end of the month instead of just taking the camp and building a spa.

The Elements of Harmony aren't exactly in use anymore over in Equestria. Maybe when the Mane 6 gave the elements back to the tree, some variation of them made it to the human world in form of these magical Geods? We'll probably never find out for sure x)

When Sunset sees memories, they aren't in real time. You see her experience in the movie, but to the other characters her eyes just flash white for a second.

And that's how they became the new Super Friends (Fluttershy is clearly the Aquaman of the group). And, just in case you were curious on the specific song, Twilight's ringtone was Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach, one of my favorite classical pieces

The Statue was broken by Midnight Sparkle in Friendship Games.

2:50 There are a few jokes and references to the Ace Attorney games, but it is by no means required to play the games for you to enjoy the series. They did a really good job of explaining the Ace Attorney things to non Ace Attorney fans, and the MLP things to non MLP fans. I hadn't played Ace Attorney when I watched Turnabout Storm either, but it was still easy to understand everything that was going on :)

"The Legend You Were Meant to Be" took the top spot for me, just barely passing "Right There in Front of Me" (The closing credits song for Friendship Games)

The opening and closing song for this movie is one of my favorite songs in the whole fim and eqg series, I really love the songs in this movie!

You know, I remember not enjoying this movie as much as the other Equestrian Girls movies the first time I saw it, but I think I enjoyed it much more this time around. Also, you seem to have heard a bit about it, but just to clarify for you, instead of another EQG movie this year, we'll be getting 3 new EQG "specials", which will supposed be the length of an average FiM episode. I imagine they're doing this so EQG doesn't steal the MLP Movie's thunder, so to speak. Anywho, great video as always! /)

Nice reaction man, love it :D Now, since I am the person who likes to share my opinions, informations and theories (I love them!) to other people, it's time to explain few things you were questioning Mr. BurningAxe. I'll be talking about Main Seven new magic abilities 1. Looks like there are some similarities between magical powers of human Main Six and actual/natural abilities of pony Main Six. Applejack is a earth pony - they have incredible strenght. Rainbowdash is an elite flyer (she's really fast). Fluttershy can talk to animals just like in Equestria. Twilight can levitate things, normal unicorn ability. But there goes Rarity with her making magical diamonds... since she's an unicorn in Equestria it could have some kind of sense. What about Pinkiepie and making magical explosions with sprinkles? Party cannon realtion perhaps? Maybe? Come on man, I can't explain how Pinkiepie works, it just can not be done. And finally Sunset Shimmer - I don't know, some people speculate it has to do with her empathy, heck, there are theories that's her "Element of Harmony". I have no clue but since magic of humans doesn't act exactly in the same way as in Equestria it is possible it has something to do with characters personalities. Just a theory though. 2.What are those crystals we saw in this movie? Well, in my opinion those are the missing parts of the portal. In third movie the portal was destroyed and horse statue with it. Sunset Shimmer "repaired" it but since horse statue isn't the most inportant part of the portal... it's just gone. But whose to say that all parts of the portal were restored? It looks like seven pieces are missing and that make a crack in the portal and from looks of it magic from Equestria is slipping through... That's not good. But it creates the perfect foundations for Generation Four Finale. What? Everything has come to the end and what a better finale than saving both worlds from destrution because of magical dimensional imbalance? Maybe even with new AND old therats? (please just make King Sombra back! Pleeeaaaseee!). Anyway that were my thoughts. Oh, before I forget, there will be NOT three Equestria Girls movies but three Equestria Girls 20 minutes specials. It's like a experiment before doing something else - Equestria Girls TV Show! But that just a rumor so don't take my words for absolute truth. Great reaction. You seemed really into it, and even reacted to a lot of the smaller gags that most people have missed in their reaction videos (like the little "I didn't scream" - "Yeah, for once" exchange). I watched this video in one go which is a rarity for me these days, so that should speak of the entertainment value and energy here. I haven't combed through the comments to see if anyone else tried to make sense of these things so personal theory time: magic's leaking from Equestria, possibly harmony magic (if it's a separate thing because who knows?), and it could be trying to, like, establish itself in this new magicless world, or however you wanna phrase that. Find a place for itself, or even "invade", though that sounds too hostile. I figure it's possible that it's just a fraction of the elements' powers or the rainbow powers that has found targets it is already used to (or something). I expect the three "specials" could be dedicated to more magic finding its way somewhere crazy, though it would be pretty repetitive if each of them had a "overwhelmed and transformed by magic" type of villain so I dunno. My gut tells me there is a non-zero chance of one of them being about the sirens, since they also had magical amulets, and are formerly magical creatures, plus they're so popular the authors gotta realize it. But maybe it's just wishful thinking. Personally, I'd take the return of Shadowbolts over the Sirens, but that's just me. I'm weird like that, for me the coolest possible thing would be if Cinch returned but we all know that's not gonna happen, frankly it's a bit unbelievable she even got a mention in this one. As for Gaia, I believe she was never real in the first place, which is a shame, because despite the story being less cliche thanks to her not actually being in it, her design kicked ass in the flashback. I really liked how creepily she crawled back into the thicket at the end. And a random thought about the Phoenix Right stuff, I figure there's probably playthroughs without commentary on the 'tube somewhere, you know, the sort where they already know how to beat the game and are recording a competent player do it. If you got the time, it's probably best to familiarize yourself with the characters and such. Don't quote me on this but I don't think you need to have seen more than two or three games for the full context. Heck, could even just be the very first one.

From the MLP Fair toys, one of the specials may happen in a shopping/mall (foreshadowed by Timber, so he would probably have a ruined date with SciTwi in it). I think Gaia was a real creature from Equestria´s Everfree Forest (she was made of the same green magic and raw components of a timberwolf). She was probably starved of magic and bury herself into the cave (the "Altar of Harmony" becoming her tomb and a magnet for random magic).

40:00 Those are real things; you make them light and then light a candle inside them so the hot air makes them rise until the candle goes out. So it's like releasing balloons, but they glow and such I guess.

the "geodes" cant be the elements (at least imo) because there are only 6 elements of harmony and there are 7 "geodes"

They also all but confirmed officially that we are getting a season 8 for 2018.

One thing I'd like to point out is that this is the only movie that where there is no indication as to WHEN it actually takes place. For all we know, stutf from this movie may still be explained in Season 7. Or 8. There Are in fact 3 Equestria Girls specials coming sometime at the end of the year, theyre supposed to be 22 minutes each, like regular epsodes, basically. Not actual movies. In return we get the big 2017 movie on... I believe October 5? Did you know that the new movie will NOT be animated in Flash, but in some other program called Harmony instead? It's supposed to look a lot better. Don't worry though, it's not gonna look totally different either.

That's an interesting theory actually. :D

Basically, it's the same principle that allows a hot air ballon to fly. Hot air builds up inside and it allows it to float into the air.

I love it. Remember when you started and you were beginning the series by saying you couldn't believe you were watching it and afraid. Now look at your room...

There are three Equestria Girls things coming out, but they're not full movies. In fact, they're actually just as long as an episode of the show each. So, basically, three of the episodes next season are in the Equestria Girls world.

That is incorrect. 26 episodes of Season 7 of MLP:FiM will happen in Equestria. 3 "EG specials" (each long as an episode) in Canterlot Town and/or Crystal City 1 Feature Movie in Equestria (and "The Lands Beyond").

I don't think that you have to play the games to enjoy turnabout storm. I have never played a single game and I was on the edge of my seat for the whole thing. I actually watched when I first got into the fandom, and I didn't get all of the brony stuff yet either, but I enjoyed it none the less. Mostly do to the absolutely amazing story telling, writing, and voice performance. I say go for it and react to it, even if you haven't played the games, I didn't play them and when the climax of the whole thing was happening I was actually standing up out of my chair in suspense, it is that good. I may be over hyping it a little, but that is how much I love that fan work.

BronyBurningAxe dunno if anyone explained this yet but those flying lanterns float because the air is heated up inside the lantern which bounces around until they push the lanterns upward how they fly without anything for the hot air to push on (their no top on the lantern) I have no idea

The burning lanterns flying is possible, it sort of works like how a hot air balloon would. Although I dont think they are suppose to have an open top like it did in the movie cause thats literally impossible for them to fly.

paper lanterns fly like that, yeah. Though the ones they made in the movie couldn't... they are open topped. Real flying lanturns are capped so the hot air from the candle lifts them like a hot air balloon.

follow up: As far as the geodes being the elements of harmony, they are fairly obviously infused with the elements, yes. Don't think of the elements as physical items, the elements come from the tree of harmony, I am sure it can sustain multiple sets of elements. I just assume that the items provide a focus for the magic to gather in. The magic itself comes from the tree. Similar to how the pendants the Sirens used collected magic.

Actually, four are referenced. You forgot about Apollo Justice. Also, not all the references are explained or really that minor. I'm not going to spoil anything, but there's a certain reference to a certain red-haired character from game 3 that would probably leave BBA confused, and a certain joke referencing case 3 of game 1 that loses its irony if you don't know the context. Also, the introduction of Applejack and one other character in Turnabout Storm heavily reference the first game. Knowing nothing about the first game will result in confusion.

You might wanna be careful when reacting to Turnabout Storm because the series is sort of intricate in my opinion and missing small details can lead to confusion in some parts. I know because it happened to me when I watched it XD.

3:18 I don't think it is worth it if you're only buying them to get some of the jokes in Turnabout Storm.

FINNALY SOMEONE DOESN'T SKIP

Okay, saying this right now. For Ace Attorney, the best you can do is get a Nintendo DS Emulator, and then get the original ace attorney trilogy on it. To find the right thing to download, you better consult someone who is experienced with that sort of stuff. As an alternative, IF you have a Nintendo 3DS, you can download the whole trilogy for like, 30 bucks in the eShop, in one package with updated graphics. That is, of course, only if you truly want to play through those games. they are about 10 hours each and require a LOT of logical thinking. Getting the jokes is secondary, but I do recommend that you look up some information about the general story and characters. Playing the games just to enjoy Turnabout Storm is not worth the time and trouble, but some background knowledge is beneficial to an extent. That said, you are perfectly able to watch Turnabout Storm without knowing anything about Ace Attorney. I did that too. There ould be a lot you won't get, but that applies mostly to jokes or references, some may be slightly more important than others, but overall you probably won't miss anything essential. If you are anything like me, you might even be more willing to look more deeply into Ace Attorney AFTER you finished Turnabout storm. And sorry for the long ass comment.

I think that because there is a broken hole in the portal so the magic came out from the equestria or somewhere' magic just like Luna said the portal is a portal to many strange places so it's rather some other world's magic or equestria' magic

when the pony mane 6 gave up the elements to the tree of harmony these could be the human equivalent to the elements of harmony for this world. With twilight living in a castle that is a tree the setting of the human elements couldn't be more perfect. the power of the actual elements of harmony could have released some of its power to the cave in the ever free forest in the other world making the geodes the new elements when human twilight almost destroyed the portal and left the crack.

That's a very good theory actually, and it makes a lot of sense.

I too love this EG film! It may not be my most favorite like "Rainbow Rocks" but, it has definitely earned 2nd place in my book.

The thought of been able to have that much power, and hurt a lot of people without even knowing how or why got to her, but in the end, she got over it with the help of her friends ^_^ I feel like that's a really cool lesson
