...or... Also, the concept of poker is to make money. He wanted to get called. If he jammed, Gross might have folded thinking he had the case 10 or 88 or AA. You play your game, and Phil will play his.

@@zathras11b53 Phil isn’t 4betting 88 or a Tx hand. When you bet small and your opponent says “this is a nitty just call” before calling, you lost value. This is pretty basic stuff.

most of these poker players play with each other. even when tony g was talking smack to putting hellmuth all in he tried to offer him money and even decided to do the turn anD THE RIVER CARD 3 TIMES AND Was hoping phil woULD WIN once even tho they hated each other. these guys are here for fun, not for the battlel

Hellmuth never has queens in this spot. He is way too passive pre to 4 bet anything other than AA, even KK he flats a lot of 3 bets pre. I think vs exactly hellmuth, the way this plays you can fold turn a lot, and always fold river
