Scott Seiver telling the guy "you can't fold, I would think less of you", was genius reverse psychology.
@alaskaguyd963

I don't think it was psychology. He looked disgusted at the guy after he showed his aces.
Quad Aces vs Royal Flush is Bond movie hand.

Imagine if it wasn’t on video, trying to get anyone to believe it. “So yeah, Ray Romano is there, and I have pocket aces…”
#12 should be the number one!

Gamble with quad Aces😂
Hands that haven’t shown up yet that I feel I know are gonna be in the top 10: - Scotty Nguyen ‘you call and it’s gonna be all over baby!’ - Duhamel/Affleck - Moneymaker bluff on Farha - Ungar wins in 1997 - Doyle wins with 10-2

That dealer smiling and telling Helmuth that he just sat down is hilarious.
This is the last of the prelims. Now we are into the home stretch the TOP 10 WSOP Hands of all time
Mikes response “no im just gunna fold” while absolutely really laughing is a thing of gold
Having the Moneymaker/Ivey hand anywhere other than 1 is absurd. That hand literally changed the course of poker history forever and kept who many consider the GOAT from likely going on to win the Main Event.
@gunders85

Correct that "The Bluff of the Century" will be #1. I can get behind the Ivey hand being higher though.
@zachvaught7346

@@jeradballard7967 Moneymaker isn’t there to make the bluff without that Ivey hand that’s why I rank the Ivey hand higher. Also, not just because of it propelling Moneymaker to the title but of who it kept from likely winning. I know there’s obviously no guarantee, but I think most would agree that Ivey picking up a double up there more than likely propels him to the title (at least he would be the odds on favorite). And right now the Main Event bracelet is the only thing missing from Phil Ivey’s accomplishments

He dropped an f-bomb. This was during a 2-3 year span where that was an automatic 10 minute penalty. One of the dumbest rules they ever tried to institute and it didn't last long. I remember Matusow getting nearly an hour long penalty one day 1 that year after a tirade.

Adrian Attenborough's 20 minute tank fold with bottom pair will be number 1
#12 Losing with Quad Aces to a runner runner Royal Flush is the absolute sickest.
#19 is my personal #1, it’s flawless in so many ways
"Queen-10, honey" has to be the most iconic meltdown of all time, at the WSOP at least. Entire history of poker changes if Moneymaker doesn't catch that Ace against Ivey. My #1 and #2 have to be the Moneymaker bluff on Farha and the Affleck-Duhamel hand, the latter still hurts to watch -- you can just see his soul leaving his body.

Hellmuth is a nit
Oh and #11 should have actually been #1. Most important hand in poker history
Dont know why everyone hated/es on MoneyMaker for the AQ hand, he had the best hand on the flop and beat a fair portion of Ivey’s value shoves.
This scream will be always in my mind from money maker... I play poker for 15 years and I love it... He open the door for dreamers like me 😂❤
Bro in the white singlet with the royal is one of the most famous poker hands of all time. What a time to be in the game back then

Mike was absolutely right. In a tournament like this all of the players know etiquette, along side the fact these 2 don’t like eachother. Yeh sheik was mad but his response messes with the action. The players know some big cards are out or something that hit the board and thus less outs or less chance the 3rd guy connected as well
I was fully expecting #11 to be #1. I have no idea what the top 10 can even be at this point.

lol, Matusow flips out at Sheikan for talking about his hand with the hand still in progress and then waves "bye bye" to the crowd with players left to act when Sheikan moves all-in.
Ivey farha for the title would have been 🔥
is it me or on the moneymaker hand the guy announcing the hand says" sam has one pair " before he turns it over?...weird🤔
Hand #11 is historic, but it's not possible without Moneymaker getting away with a bluff earlier in the showdown. That's the had he talks to him about after the final hand. Top 10 awaits.
Thought #12 and #14 would easily be top 10, 12 should be top 3 easily
And one more is neaganu vs Colman last hand one drop 2014 A 4 vs kQ
I don’t think a lot of people understand the moneymaker effect. Online guys would get it all in 200bb deep with AJ, never fold top pair. It was beautiful
One in two point seven billion.
Absolute cheek of Skeikhan takingvthe moral high ground over an f bomb when he was slamming the table
No. 19 is an ELITE job of leveling by Seiver. However, without context of time passed due to editing nor DNegs stack depth, calling clock in that situation while not being part of the action seems slightly messed up with a guy making a decision for 2/3 of his chips that deep in the tourney. To be clear, I don’t think Daniel was being consciously malicious. It’s just a huge decision in a tournament that costs a fortune to enter with potential generational wealth up top. Am I wrong?
@awzm123

they say immediately afterwards that it had been ten minutes before he called clock which seems like a reasonable amount of time to me.
The dealer that put that Ace on the river possibly made so many people so much more in the poker industry.
Crazy Dnegs called Aces while holding an Ace blocker. Unreal that fact he's so sure of it
“hey man you seem upset, what did you lose with on your last hand? trips? a straight?” “quad aces”
Moneymaker winning the WSOP Main Event should be in the Top 10. Not necessarily Number One, or even top 3. But his win literally changed the WSOP & poker as we know it.
#11 should have been in the top 10 IMO. Changed poker forever.
Money makers ace was such a sick suck out
Hand #18 fold makes the man a true legend. Hand #17 shows that it takes 100% pure luck to beat that legend.
I LOVE RAYMER
How I didn’t see Mike as a coke head in my youth only goes to show my innocence…
"You can win with grace or you can win this way!" 😂
#12 Quad aces losing to a royal flush? That has to suck!!!!
24:58 This is why you stay quiet at the table
im happy for Matasow he is a good guy that has taken some bad beats in the past

Should DEF be in top 10, probably gonna see that, Kenny Tran calling with pair of 8s on 4 heart board with no heart in hand, but I think moneymaker bluff vs Sammy will be #1
I'm guess number 1 will be the folded full house Jack's hand because it's so random.
Number 14 should be number 1. If that ace doesnt hit the river. Phil Ivey wins the main event and there is no poker boom.
@dhunter8314

Def can make a case for that, but also the bluff with moneymaker vs Sammy is another HUGE one. Think that’ll be #1
Sam Farha pure class.
Where is 1997 main event last hand? Probably the greatest moment of the main
#12: "What a horrible river card for y ...whahahahahahahaaha"
The guy who hit the Royal flush is such a mouth breather
Honey, he called me with a Royal Flush?
Royal Flush over Quad Aces? 1-in-2.7 billion chance? Has to be #1.
Nothing quite as satisfying as seeing Helmuth humbled and salty about it.
Quad aces vs royal flush gotta be 1
Also I bet Ivey doesn’t feel too bad about getting knocked out in 2006. It made him way more money
Seiver KT hand was insane 😂

mattusow might be the coldest poker player
Why was #18 ranked so high? Folding AK before the flop by a top pro not even top 100 unless I’m missing something
I have a feeling If he hadn't foldded those Aces, that river would have made the straight.

We still having seen Phil dodge bullets baby!
The moneymaker Ivey hand was the most history changing hand, imo, moneymaker loses, the game doesn’t blow up from the moneymaker effect, history of the game could be completely different….🌎✌️
There was a hand in the $1,000,000 buy in between Drinan and Katz AA v AA and Katz flushed out on him. To me that is the worst beat in poker history. If that dosent make the top 10 i will be shocked!
