There is a setting for quick command in 'my Bixby' setting I set when I say 'home' It will turn off wifi n Bluetooth Ringtone volume to 50% Also change AOD to digital clock, Then lock screen I also set For command "refresh" Where Bixby will clean memory, open recent apps and clear all recent apps then turnoff screen Its very good combo command you can set

Ecla1rYT I do understand that. But think about this. If I am able to imitate your voice and somehow get to know what is your password (since you’re speaking it out loud), I will be able to very easily access your phone. The level of security with Bixby is really low. Checking notifications isn’t a problem but unlocking a phone, just with a voice and saying your password out loud is not just a problem but a huge problem.

Alex Papas as long as people and reviewers give them the deserved credit and attention. There have been times when Samsung releases features and are deemed as gimmicks just because it's easier to say it is. But then Google or someone else does the same and suddenly it's practical. A lot of the features present on the Dr are suddenly being implemented again

Actually, Bixby is the corner stone of Samsung's AI push. Bixby is coming to all Samsung smart devices (e.g. TV, fridge, washer/dryer, robot vacuum, etc.). Once Samsung integrates Bixby with VIV lab (which Samsung acquired while back). Bixby is going to be so much smarter.

Tommy FaGalde apple bought siri and samsung bought the company that created siri. which is why bixby is more advanced and it will continue to improve. Bixby can get a lot more interesting now that I've seen what it can do in this video. Samsung makes a lot of stuff, like a lot. If they can integrate bixby into other products eventually you'll be t alking to your washing machine like in the video.

I was extremely surprised when some tech reviewers were downplaying BIXBY. Samsung had a full press release (prior to even the release of S8) stating that BIXBY would be able to control your smartphone via voice commands. Actually, Siri DOES have custom voice commands now, with Siri Shortcuts, which actually is extremely powerful, and can integrate with any app.

Ever since Galaxy S8, Samsung has been ahead of the game. People buy Apple for the logo. It's some sort of a status thing. Samsungs look better and have more features.
