I personally use it all the time when I'm either walking or running somewhere. I'll have my headphones in and if I need something I just press the button, say a command, and it's done. But yes, it is not for everyone. It still has many flaws and I hope it improves.

What the fuck. Are you deaf? Bixby is a lot more practical but has slurred slow and robotic speech, Samsung acknowledges this and it was delayed for so long and they’re still working on it. Siri is much faster clearer and more human-like in her speech.

"Lock my phone" and what? you can just leave it there it'll automatically shut anyway, "edit the photo" and what? you're right there do it yourself it much faster and easier and even if you are far away you couldn't see what is the photo's going to look like,...etcetera

what is that??? Sakitech never said it took 5 minutes so I don’t know where you got that from. He clearly says instead of having to navigate through multiple pages to set your screen timeout to 5 minutes you can have it done almost instantly using a quick command. He is using just one example where using the voice commands saves you time since you were insinuating it doesn’t. To make it more funny is he insulted your intelligence and then you come up with that reply.

Bixby is a gimmick, the same with Siri, Google Assistant. Who sits there and control their phones with their voice when it takes a fraction of the time to do it manually? In the things that counts google assistant is king, followed by Siri and Cortana.

It only makes sense for certain operations, but I do agree, right now they are ALL kind of gimmicky and most people aren't used to using voice commands and the technology is still in development. Unfortunately, there isn't a list of the most requested things most people do to compare. I use Siri on my iPad to set the alarm and to sometimes make appointments, and it works pretty well, but I am just not in the habit of doing it on a regular basis. They are fun to play around with to see their limitations, but most people simply aren't conditioned to use it, and if they don't get it right immediately, it takes longer than to do things manually. I've tried Google's and Microsoft's assistants and I found all of them to be just as good and just as bad so I don't see a clear winner that's compelling. Plus, as far as choosing a platform, which assistant is the best is NOT a high enough priority on the list of reasons to choose a platform or product.

Very excited about Bixby. Nice to see someone that speaks English clearly testing devices. It's a better illustration of what the assistants can do if you speak clearly or work to speak clearly. Is there any way to change Bixby to a British male voice? That's what I've had in mind. (Actually the voice of Robot from "Lost in Space" is my dream. We'll see if we ever get that!)

Bixby for sure, esp. since it is just getting started. With time, will come speed, and when that speed increases ... superiority will follow suit.

Kids Legends as u could see Bixby could decrease the brightness, minimise the calculator, unlock the phone and just rewatch the video and just listen to how many times siri says sorry I can't do that or the brightness is already low and then he lowers it manually. If a person with no hands had siri he would be limited because he would have to touch the phone but with Bixby it does almost everything and u don't even have to touch the phone and it is in beta. Just watch the video again because Bixby outclassed siri

Ammaar Hussain, saying a password out loud is stupid!😂😂 then everyone would get to know your password, siri has a lot more features on its nee iOS 11, siri can send you to call without having to touch a phone, it can put a timer on, it can calculate stuff for without having to touch the phone, it can answer a lot of important questions, it can also tell you relevant stuff, and its siri response much faster then bixby.

Ask bixby to set a timer for 5 mins and watch it say it can’t do it. Ask it to add something to your shopping list and watch it say it can’t do it. There are a lot of things it can’t do which I hope Samsung sort out because it seems to be the things I personally used the most.

siri already 9 years old technology, never improved, not even understand other language, such as malay language.. sucks. I vote for bixby. true assistant! unlock the fone and call 911 when u are in emergency, and ur hands are tied up. brilliant technology! gud job samsung! this is what we call assistant. helpfull when in need.

Thanks for the great videos. Just bought the note 8. Bixby here just goes to the right app and it wont install, no matter whether i say install or download. It just takes me to the right app and say this always "Sure, let's check the screen first". Do you have any idea why thats happening..!!?

I love the feel of the note 8 compared to other phones out at the moment, i have a feeling that the iphone x will be a massive competitor though(once it comes out)
