It's really a combination of "Old Time Music", and Blue Grass, Bluegrass is kind of (New Time Music), Bill Monroe and the bluegrass boys really put the fine point on ''bluegrass", Monroe and Elvis sort of evolved along during the same time frame. Bluegrass really was kind of "New-Grass" though like everything else it stood on the shoulders of giants. Strings is refreshing, his hard fast driving picking is distinctly reminiscence of Doc Watson. All should bear in mind Strings was a hard rocker in his teen years, but then he grew up, ha, maybe I'll get there.

It’s like an honor to see someone that young,be so awesome! His playing, his outlook on life. I honestly cannot love enough. Taking about success survivors guilt was pretty cool. His playing is so great. It’s heavy metal and 2000 years timeless at the same time

The amount of time it takes to get to Billy Strings' level is absurd. That's years of grinding on a single instrument. Hat's off to you brother. You can tell when he's playing it takes him to another planet. The man is living proof that real talent isn't inherited, its earned.
