You might try following this stelar comedy with Clanadonia. Theyre a Scottish tribal band of pipes and drums. It makes your heart swell with pride to hear them. Awesome talent and quite good characters too. Theyd make a perfect pairing with Billy Connelly for sure. Wall to wall good cheer. You cant help but smile! 😊 🎭 🥁 🎶

I learned English thanks to Him. I would watch his shows and laugh without understanding a word over and over, ....one they I noticed I understand every word now.

Never realised but Billy's and Robin Williams stage movements are exactly the same I love it :)

Best recommendation for heart, mind, soul, outlook, restoration of humanity and by listening to and watching Billy on screen to revive hope of life, with the necessary truth and laughter to see life's beauty, wonder and purpose again and again.

Most local picture houses back rhen were referred to as 'flea pit's I remember my neighbour talking about his brother asking his father for sixpence, to go to the pictures.... His father, slightly ennibriated, gave him a long look, then said " there's pictures here on the wall....watch them".. ....but they don't move dad..the son said. To which the father bellowed.... "don't worry son, i'll make the buggers move"..!!!! North East humour..🤣 .

Popcorn. I have never, ever, understood the attraction of that nonsense. Especially when it comes in a bucket! (So does swill, as Billy noted.)

He will always be my favorite Scottish Comedian. I love the T shirt with tails . It makes me think Blue collar and black tie Wich shall I tell a joke or a funny story about next ? I don't go to the movies often these days, so when I go I make it nice, pay for gold class and a little bit of dinner, order a bourbon. About $150 for me and the missus. There's probably like 20 seats, comfy as shit, no kids allowed. Maybe go once a year, expensive but if ya find a good movie, it turns out to be a pretty good night

Billy Connelly is without doubt a national treasure! I remember as a kid watching the Billy and Albert video and literally pissing my pants, I couldnt breathe! He's an incredible story teller. gather round the fireplace children. Billy's got a tale to tell !

It's a rare talent to tell of an incident that really happened and find a ton of humor in it. Reminds me of my 16 yr old daughters first day at Wards. I drove her there and was to pick get up at 10pm. Just got home and received the oddest call from her. "Hello, MA? Yes dear..is all ok. Well, two guys just ran by me pushing a rack of leather jackets out onto the main mall floor. Are you OK? I am but the store may not be. Why? Well they set fire to a rack of other clothes on the way out! I got a good look at them as they pushed the rack by. They stared real hard at me so I asked them if they would like the jackets gift-wrapped?"

I love Connolly. He reminds me of my grandad... but he's wrong about the escalator thing. Had he worked in a casino like I do, doing roughly 25,000 to 30,000 steps a day I'll absolutely stand and let the lift do the work for me. Bugger thoe pricks who think they need to walk up the escalator. They get in the way of my breathe time.
