Awesome tutorial. But have little problem. When I try to remove the number part from the center, it just doesn't work. Everything else works as it should. Can you tell how fix it?

Happens when extruded backwards, causing inverted normals/inside-out faces. Easy way to check/fix ->edit mode Activate face orientation in overlays menu. -> select all inverted faces (red) -> right click -> mesh tools (M) -> flip normals (F). Continue as you are.
