"Late for a dork convention." 😂😂😂
The scooter story never gets old! I love it!
I love the fact that he can put into words what the rest of us are thinking.😄
The scooter story kills me every time
I'm the luckiest guy in the world with a Gremlin on stage. LOL
Bill, you always make me laugh 😂. Enjoy retirement but think about a few shows here and there. ❤
Thanks for the laughs Bill…..you’re hilarious! Hope you’re enjoying your retirement. Love ya! 😊
Gremlin, AMC Pacer and Pinto. Had them. ❤ Bill very funny.
Ah, pure joy to listen Bill, always laugh when I listen to him!
Always funny. I needed this medicine. 😂😂
Many years ago I met George Straight; he looked me straight in the eye and smiled (no pun intended or is it?) and I immediately lost my ability speak. His tour manager had to turn me around to get a picture.I guess that makes me a dork too and I'm ok with that. I also met you in the mid 90s outside of Emerald Studios in Nashville. I was on break in between interviews I was helping coordinate. I sure wish technology was what it is now because I ended up sandwiched between you and Trace Adkins. I didn't say anything because I was dying with laughter inside and did not want to be rude or interrupt your break. Also, professional courtesy. The entire time all you guys talked about was farm equipment and acres of land. It was priceless and I still carry that as a fond memory. Best of luck to you wherever retirement takes you and your family.
I LOVE THOSE BACKDROPS! and bill has always been amazing

the word you were looking for is "acts". Or "routines" if you want people to think you're a dork.
This man needs a Members Only jacket.

My first car was a 1979 Chevy Malibu Classic station wagon, dirt-brown in color, with an engine best described as “a breakdown looking for a place to happen,” that my friends called “the Beast.” Dorkmobile? Maybe. But I was popular among my friends anyway for one vital reason-I was the only member of the Belphi-Park Posse (Beltsville/Adelphi/College Park area) who had WHEELS! And with the bench seats in that thing, you could _stuff_ the entire Posse in there! I’ve got some great memories of us all piled in there, cruising up Route 1 to hang at the Laurel Mall, windows down, bass beat up, and go-go music _blasting!_ The engine was a total POS, but the sound system had a bass booster that could make the people in DC wet the bed! Good times!
Dork Fish. LOL
"I had a Gremlin!" At least you didn't have a Pinto! I had a '72 Gran Torino. The previous owner had jacked up the rear end some, so it looked like it should be on a racetrack somewhere, not on regular streets, even though it was a 4 door. And that car was TOUGH. I was at McDonald's, and I backed up out of a parking space right into one of those trash cans built especially for the parking lot. The trash can was demolished, and it was made out of concrete. My car? Not a scratch! And that sucker was powerful and fast, just the kind of car you DON'T want a teenage boy to have. But my dad was COUNTRY, so he was cool with me having a wolf in sheep's clothing (a muscle car in disguise) to drive around. (Did I mention that I got my crazy from my dad? 😆) BTW I liked the Gremlin. I even liked the Pacer and Javelin. I also play D&D, and I read comic books and SFF, and I'm a Science geek. So that made me 180 degrees off cool most of my life, making me a Super-Dork. But do you remember that Barbara Mandrell song, "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool"? That's me, except my song would be "I Was A Dork When Dorks Weren't Cool". Because with comic books, SFF, and D&D being made into cool movies nowadays, Science geeks being cool because of "The Big Bang Theory" and guys like Neall DeGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye, and having formerly ridden a motorcycle (Crashed!💥🏍), I've turned around to 15 degrees off cool... as long as I can keep my mouth shut (impossible to do, so not as cool as I'd like to be😁). Well, my elementary school students thought I was cool at any rate. Especially after I got a scooter, too. My scooter was a Yamaha, and it had a motorcycle engine in it, 450cc. (Okay, it was a small engine, but at least it wasn't a putt-putt engine.) It was electric blue with black trim, and it looked like it could FLY! (I did get it up to 82 mph once on the interstate.) It had a shaft drive (so no need fiddling with a chain or belt drive), electric start, automatic transmission, a locking glove compartment, a sunglasses compartment, and enough room under the seat for 2 full-size helmets (so I'd sometimes go grocery shopping with it). Also, it got 55 to 60 mpg!!! Plus, since it looked so cool, it added to my coolness points with my students. 😁

Hey jimgilber- Watch it there!! My first car was a 1973 gold Pinto!! It was the one that had a recall because it exploded if it was hit from behind. It got me thru 1year of H.S. and 4 years of college. I drove that baby into the ground!! Toward the end, it only had 3 cylinders and couldn't go over 50mph!! 😂 Ioved it!! 😊

@@robinhallett-yc3hw That's why I said that, because of Pintos exploding. My first car was a 61 Buick Skylark. It really was a car that was driven around by a little old lady, like the old joke. Except she didn't drive it only on Sunday, she drove it everyday to work. The thing is, though, she never took it over 50. She babied it. So when 16 year old me got it, well, let's just say it only lasted about 3 or 4 months. Then I got the 72 Gran Torino. My dad loved Corvairs, I think that was because he loved working on cars, and Corvairs needed constant work. He finally got a 51 Ford pickup truck he named Old Blue. It was the only car/truck he ever gave a name. He treated that truck like a member of the family.
Just Love you!❤ bill😂
Love Bill
Haven't heard this one in a while and shit!! Laughing as hard now as when I first heard it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL YOUR COOL TO US BILL ..
I Love you Bill You’re Funny
#DYING over here 😅😂
you know, I think that stand-up gig worked out
If I got to meet King George, I'd lose my mind too
The scooter is only a half-step down from my first car, a 1985 Toyota Hilux Pickup Truck.
Bill, the fringe on leather jackets and chaps serves the same purpose it did when horses were transportation. If and when you happen to get caught riding your horse at a gallop or an H-D Road King (we ride one if those), the rain runs down each individual fringe wicking it away from your body which helps keep your clothes DRY. That may or may not work when one gears up...and...rides...a...scooter... Neither of us, at ages 57 (me) and 53 (my husband), have ever had... ANY...experience...riding... a...scooter...so I can't be certain. I guess it would all depend on where your scooters speedomoeter tops out. Is the engine of your scooter at least louder than a sewing machine when its running??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ~ APRIL LIPKE
Lol I had the pinto
I, too, have a hard time keeping my dorkiness hidden. But somehow it wiggles and bubbles to the surface and explodes when I least expect it. I am 68yrs old and you would think "give it up" no cares about that crap anymore. NOT TRUE!!!! They lay in wait and pounce on even the smallest dorkie and take their aim .
Dig the helmet.
Your always "cool" in my book.
The man is funny.
Bill doesnt need to be cool. But he is cool to me
Happy that you're enjoying your retirement.
To be fair- the guys who ride scooters have the biggest balls of any man. Takes a very secure man to ride one of them things
