That is an incredible way to use your depression. Most struggle to recognize, few know how to treat it correctly, and this man uses it to push him to learn new things. Not saying it can be scaled up for the masses but good for Bill for finding something that works for him.
Bill Burr is one of the few people that randomly pops into my head sometimes and I chuckle to myself because some of the insane things he's done. Like the Philly crowd thing, which was basically the "why do I hear boss music?" but for thousands of people at the same time, or making fun of Star Warsand then becoming a fan favorite on Mandalorian, or making Conan repeatedly crying laughing.. what a legend.

that scene was way beyond his other appearance. that was just amazing to watch and you could see the hesitation and the anguish and the resolve to mess up the infiltration to do what he needed to do for himself. His new hour is going to kill. I saw a bunch of comedians last year and I thought I would like Chappelle or John Mulaney the best, but Bill had me doubled over, gasping for air laughing. And HUGE shout out to Nate Craig. The best opener I've ever seen. I immediately followed him and saw him headline later on. Great comedian.
One of the funniest guys around. Love that he gave Bill Hader a shoutout, too. He's right, he's vastly underappreciated.
I just love Bill, he reminds me that being sarcastic and "apathetic" it's ok. Plus his part in the Mandalorian was one of the best in the entire show.
The scene with Bill Burr and Richard Brake in the Mandalorian is still one of my favorite scenes in any show or movie, and I've NEVER been a huge Star Wars fan. But, it made me happy that I was (apparently) not the only person who really wanted to see these two put together in something.
