In this video, Trey captured some of the Fourth of July chaos at the Longboat Key sandbar. A kayak began sinking and Longboat Key Police Marine Unit responded. This is the sandbar at Jewfish Key.

Dang it! There is no Zoe in sight. I was getting really excited.😂

Omfg. My friend sent me this link bc I was telling her this drone showed up as Jeff and I had to rescue this dude in a sinking kayak yesterday. Sure enough there we are. Cops came and it was crazy. 😂

Boating on the Fourth is a nightmare. Pro boaters in FL have long called it “Amateur’s Day.,” for a reason. Boat owners with so little boating knowledge who get hammered and dehydrated are like hoards of zombies. I suppose every boat owner has to try it once!

I don't like the idea of drones hovering and filming over my family for some dude's KZread content. No harm was done here, but it seems rude and a breach of responsibility to hover take pictures of people who did not want or ask to be your video content.
