I kind of love the chunky collar on the Ingrid. I think it balances all the texture. Im sure it will look even better after blocking. Love that tiny moby vest :) Your wedding dress is going to be so pretty with that blue skirt!

Thank you!! I think the collar is growing on me! But I'm worried it will literally start to grow/widen with wear😅 I'm not making any decisions before I get to block it and see! I really hope the wedding dress & skirt turn out how I'm imagining👗

I like how the collar looks. It looks neat and like a store bought sweater. It also might even out with blocking. Maybe block it some time soon and then decide if you want to re-do it. You will also be able to see how it looks on you and that can help with the decision :)

Thank you!! I also like how it looks now, but I'm worried it'll sag and widen with time and wear😅 I think I definitely want to block it before I make any big decisions!

So nice that my reminder of the Eva Cardigan inspired you to cast on, it will look very cute matching with the big light buttons. For spring/summer I am knitting on the Peacock Tee by LeKnit while watching. If you like lace yoke tshirts, you may find something in her store - currently she has released a plain one too which looks like a good basic. Have a nice week with all your different and exciting projects 😊

Hi Oline - so glad to hear that you have enjoyed your week of knitting! I am someone who also tends to knit what I think I should be knitting, but also find that I am much more productive when I knit what is bringing me the most joy at the moment so am trying to do a lot more of that! I love how you use the “fiancé test” to figure out if something that you don’t like in a project is noticeable -I do the same thing with my husband! Maybe you would be happier with that chunky neckline if you ripped some of it back and just did an Italian bind-off (I also find chunkier necklines to be itchier, but maybe that’s just me). For summer knits, everyone loves Rebecca Clow’s Tolsta Tee pattern, and you can also knit longer sleeves on that if you want. Love seeing your progress on the wedding dress skirt - have you set a date.?

Hi! Thank you❤️ It's so easy to get wrapped up in everything we "should" do, but it's been really nice to take a step back and realize than being too strick only slows my progress and I get less done, even on the things I "should" do😅 The "fiancé/husband test" is a great test to see if it's actually noticeable or not because they are not knitters so they don't know what to look for, so if they notice something looking a bit funky it's probably quite noticeable😅😂 I can't really decide if I'm going to rip back and do an Italian bind off or if I'll wait until it's blocked, and I can see if it looks better then🤔 Thank you for the summerknit tip! We have set a date, finally😅

For summer knitting you can take a look at the Emmanuel Tee. Its gorgeous with a lace panel in the back. It’s going to be my next project 😊.

I am so interested to see how your wedding dress turns out in the end! Ingrid neck - I would finish the sweater, block it and wear it for 2 days. The weight of the sweater will pull on the neck quite a bit. If it's still not right you can rip it back and change it then. Nothing lost really. I personally like a chunky neck and think the sweater suits it too. It is maybe a little much right now but this could totally change with blocking and wearing. I had no plans to cast on the Ingrid any time soon but there was an impulse yarn purchase last week 😁 Hillesvag Tinde in the most beautiful green (2118). After mulling over many pattern options for a couple days and thinking back to you loving the Ingrid so much I decided to swatch for it. I am holding Knitting for Olive bottle green mohair with it and the swatch turned out amazing! I am so excited to cast this on tomorrow. I just cast off the body of my second Eva cardigan. There will be more for sure. This is the perfect cardigan for me. Summer patterns - still haven't decided myself but I really like the Thea Top by Susanne Mueller/Paula strickt (have made it twice). Also comes with instructions to make it into a wool slipover.

Thank you❤️ I really hope all the pieces for the wedding dress will come together like I'm picturing it in the end! I'm thinking the same thing for the collar of the Ingrid. Folded collars are my favorite, so I really hope it works out🤞🏻 Yay for Ingrid Sweater!! It's such a fun project! And I love your yarn choice🤩 Eva is such a good cardigan! I love knitting it up, and I LOVE wearing it. But those shoulders😅 I really need to get better at actually reading the pattern. Thank you for the summer knit suggestions!!

Dear Oline, I am knitting as I am watching this, drinking in the inspiration you radiate. Thank you so much for making these videos. Taking so much joy from your joy! Love, Andrea ❤ P.S. The criss-cross diamonds really look good in both sweaters upon completion, even if one is more defined than the other.

Hi Andrea! Thank you so much❤️ I'm so happy you got some inspiration and joy from my video🥰 The criss-cross diamonds look good in both when it's done, but it's so much more fin to knit it up with a good stitch definition🙈

Hi Lena, I would change the collar of your poppy sweater if you are planning to wear it in spring and fall. It is a great collar for winter but I think you would want something a little lighter on the neck in spring. It will be gorgeous either way. I love your creativity and am looking forward to you embroidery choices for your wedding dress. Cheers Laura

Hi! I'm probably going to wear the Ingrid year-round. I don't think the warmth of the collar will be any problem, I get plenty of use out of even my warmest sweaters even in summer, it's Norway after all😅 but I'm worried it will loosen with wear and be uncomfortable/not look right because it's so chunky. I'm really excited to learn how to emroider and figure out what I want to embroider. Thank you❤️

I wouldn't rush with unravelling the Ingrid collar as it will flatten with blocking. I would decide after blocking.

I love how your skirt for your wedding dress is looking.!! Are you planning it to be longer, shorter, or the same length as your wedding dress? Regarding your collar on your Ingrid, I think I would unfold it and frog half and then just do a tubular bind off. I think it would look less Bulky. No one would ever see the mistake on your son's Eva cardigan. Have a great week❤❤

Thank you! I don't know just yet, I'll have to see how it looks when I've gotten a bit further. But my gut feeling is to make the mohair skirt the same length or a tiny bit longer than the wedding dress. I think that's what I'll do if I end up 🙏 back the collar, but a part of me wants to wait and see what it'll look like after blocking🤔 I think the dark yarn saved me. It makes the mistakes really hard to see😅 Happy knitting!!

Hi! I have some suggestions as for summer knits by Kutovakika. There's the Love Letter Top that is very lacy, and there's also the Sailor Swift Top that is striped! I love how both of them look like!

Enjoyed watching your podcast. Love how your wedding dress is knitting up. When you said matching sweaters does that mean you still have to knit one more mélange sweater for your fiancé. Yikes not trying to make more work for you.
