Solid work. Especially on the release of such a good fish. Nice to see it not hoisted vertically out of the water and held for a dozen photos. I wish more guides would show their clients handling and releasing fish responsibly like this.

This guys taught me more about striper fishing than anyone else and I don’t even personally know him LOL

Not sure, but he said he was going to get a different one. Not great for that kind of fishing.

Great catch in rough conditions, I can see why you need all those enhancements in Montauk.

Depends.. Generally for Montauk 50-65 lb Poer pro. 80 lb mono leader about 3 or 4 feet
