Solid work. Especially on the release of such a good fish. Nice to see it not hoisted vertically out of the water and held for a dozen photos. I wish more guides would show their clients handling and releasing fish responsibly like this.

Not sure, but he said he was going to get a different one. Not great for that kind of fishing.

Very good video Bill. A world of difference between how you do it on the East coast and how we do it here in Northern California. Of course we don’t have the fishery you do either.

Depends.. Generally for Montauk 50-65 lb Poer pro. 80 lb mono leader about 3 or 4 feet
