Firstly they are singers. They should learn how to pronounce a word properly.. No professional singer would insult a language by mispronouncing the easy words. Its purandara dasara famous kriti. Its so easyly pronunced. They just dont want to pronunce. Dont they have proper ears to listen how it is pronunced?

This prayer is in kannada and this is being sung every evening by lighting deep in my mom's maternal home for the last 80years by the daughters of the house... It is the 3rd generation who have kept the tradition going even today.
