Whew, that wasn't as bad as I expected. I was dumb and didn't switch legs at the end, so my right leg is going to hate me tomorrow.
I usually write down workouts while half-watching the video so I down have to repeatedly watch a workout vid, and the narrating actually made it really easy to make notes. Great workout!
Just what I needed! I skated today but wanted an extra workout. This is very nice.

Wow this was hard but I felt really great afterwards! I'm 13 years old starting to figure skate and it's my dream to be in the olympics put i first need to get my body stretched out! Hopefully I'll be more flexible with my next lesson to impress my coach! Amazing workout thanks! xo

I’m turning 16 this month and I haven’t been in the ice before but I know my dream is to go pro and compete. The Olympics is the biggest part of my dream but I don’t think it is possible for me. I want to prove myself wrong. I’m glad to see others like me working to the same goal ❤
I've been doing this work out for over a year for figure skating. It helped a whole lot, thanks for making this!

@@Sofabar You're like my favorite fitness you tuber since you're a figure skater yourself and understand what strengths figure skating need. Now I can hold my spins for much longer and my landings are cleaner.
Wow I almost couldn't do it, this was a great workout! I lack leg strength when I skate, so I have a hard time holding the edges for a long time. How often should we do this workout? Everyday or a few days a week?

i’m so happy!! that was the first time i ever worked out bc i want to be stronger in my skating, rather than look better whilst skating. it might not seem that important but that was huge for me. i wasn’t thinking about ‘burning off what i ate’, it was more ‘i cant wait to be stronger and skate the best i can’. :)))

This is a really wonderful workout! I don't even figure skate and frankly won't ever get to BUT, this also generally a really unique workout and you're an amazing athlete!! ❤

Wow the work out was really exhausting. I train with your videos because I want to figure skating in the future because there is no ice ring near me. i have always had a weak core but strong legs and okay arms, this really helped me exercise that core, which may have been preventing me from pulling around all the way for the flip! Thank you for helping me with my skating journey and keep up the good work!

Thank you for this! I've been wanting to learn figure skating for like 4 years, but never really saw it as an actual possibility since I have horseriding too. But It's finally time... I'll hopefully start taking lessons once corona allows it :/... I've decided to try and do some workout that would make it easier for me to learn, in the meantime. I'm in reaaally bad shape haha

I was practicing single jumps off ice and I am feeling it on my knees way too much. From my research, it seems I need stronger quads and glutes. Thanks so much! I'm gonna stop jumping for now and focus on strength/flexibility haha I'm 27 now and want to make the best of figure skating.

I’ve been working out to this video for a couple days. Five years ago I used to run 3 mile track meets and nothing has made me sweat as much as following you since. And I can’t do anything you do with your arms or planking. Wow! Is this what you do everyday? I really want to get into shape.

I am thinking about starting figure skating. I am an adult male. SofaBar since you are an advanced figure Skater and have been through this would you have any tips Suggestions of brands to get or what to or not to get or anyone else here that reads this or may know. I have read it is a good idea to wear a helmet and read about wearing some kind of padded shorts or padded long pants and something about padded hand braces of some sorts and knee and elbow pads. Should I buy all that for beginning skating. If so what brand or helmet would you recommend to buy as well as knee Elbow and hand pads or braces. Any specific type or brand and should I buy padded shorts or padded long pants and any recommendation beings you went through this as a kid and you know what’s good or not in figure Skating. Your video was great!! Excited to try it!! Figure Skating looks like Tons of fun!! Any help is appreciated!!

DAY 1; it was surely hard but enjoyable DAY 2; IT GOT BETTER I feel like i will gain more strength DAY 3:The planks are challenging but it’s still fun .I’m making progress DAY 4: I TOOK A 2 DAY BREAK. This workout brings me so much joy

I did skate for a while a few years ago. And I decided to start again ! Tomorrow I will be going to the rink again and try skating. Last night before I skate, I decided to try this workout and this video showed me that how my body turned into a rock . Also 2 years ago, I had to stop doing sports because of my feet disease, and I am going to start again. Thank u so much for this helpful workout! I love it!

I’m a professional roller figure skater and I had no clue how hard it can be
Hi, I do figure skating as a 12 year old and I’m wondering if I should do this about twice a week for a couple of months? Will this still help me because It’s not a 30 day type of thing where it doesn’t progress to get harder? (I will also be doing core twice a week along with this) Thanks!
Would you say this helps with flexibility too? Cause I’m not flexible at ALL

I thought my legs would be sore after this but actuality it was my lower back.

Hello, How many days a week do you think is good to do this? I am a beginner skater and the best thing I can do is a spiral, I am working on one foot spins and jumps, so hoping this will help me get better, especially the core work for the spins. Thank you :)
ahh i envy how strong you are! 😂 can't relate! just started figure skating a few months ago and thought it would be good and make it easier if i had more strength and flexibility... unfortuantely it takes a lot of time and hard effort for that 😩but i'll try i guess!

just finished first day workout and im litterly SWEATING and BREATHING so hard
At the end I got confused and did the same leg twice😂 now I have to do it twice on the other side as well. Really good workout tho❤❤❤

I am wanting to become a figure skater, yet I have no experience and all the rinks are closed from covid. Any tips for how I can prepare myself for when rinks open and I can get classes? What do I need to know and how can I prepare ahead of time at home?
First time trying this out, really burns lol! Never done figure skating, but I was suppose to this summer. Sad the rinks are closed, I’ll try to work out until then!
