I love when kramer and newman team up. A portly coniving mail man with a clumsy hipster doofus with a heart of gold. Their schemes always fall apart and its hilarious.

Actor who played Kramer said in an interview that he hated the idea of Kramer and Newman being a constant comedy duo, and that at the time he was sure ego played a big part of that

My absolute favorite Newman scene!

Newman was simply delightful in his own quirky sinister way. A perfect satellite to the core cast. Every scene with him was a sheer treat. My vote goes to his country lawyer scene where Kramer wanted to “become a banker” The whole scene never fails to crack me up. Even the well reserved and amazingly tolerant judge was just perfect. They don’t make TV like this anymore. Unfortunately.

I love that guy! The more I watch Seinfeld, the more I notice that laugh in the audience.

The greatest Newman moment was when he was suppose to pick up the Calzones for George and he called in sick because of the rain. The way he snatches the money and slams the door in George's face always makes me laugh.

You gotta love Newman

Newman is such a great side character. I am also super surprised the whole bit with the Muffin tops and him being a "cleaner" didn't make it on this list. The pulp fiction reference is amazing.

I would say Newman is the best character in Seinfeld and what a great actor 👏

Elaine taking Newman's jacket at 13:33 and then disgustingly chucking it on the floor always gets me

Everyone loved this character and Larry David had the good sense to just give us a taste every once in a while.

When you think that this show also had the character of Jackie Chile's, played by Phil Morris, it's legacy is secured.

Coy? I'm not being coy... the devilish little smile - this whole scene was a masterpiece in of itself!

My favorite Newman moments that didn't make your list are when he shows up to help Elaine and Mr. Lipman out at their muffin top shop and when he's being led into the office to meet with the Postmaster General. He has a bucket on his head and he whispers to Kramer, "Tell the world my story".

You think you can manipulate that woman like the half soused nightclub rabble that lap up your observations…. Arguably the single greatest line in all 9 years

I just noticed that Newman wore the same shirt many times in the show.

My favorite Newman moment is when he's being escorted into the back room of the Post Office to meet Wilford Brimley, the Postmaster General, and has the bucket on his head and says to Kramer, "Tell the world my story."

I luv the judge's facial expressions, like nothing phases him, like he heard it all!!!

I love the reference of Basic Instinct in the Package episode. Newman's actor did the same role.
