    I'm not sure about that squat form at 4:10. You want the path of the bar to be a straight line, seems like you're leaning forward a bit and not arching/tightening the back enough, meaning its easier for your back to round during the squat (which you don't want)

    I must say that I have my doubts about this. Triphasic training has been around a long time but I do not see that it is widely adopted by professional teams as their preferred method of training. What evidence is there that it is the best method? What teams are using it? If a method truly was “the best” you would expect that teams would naturally gravitate to that method by virtue of selection of what in practice proves to be the most effective method. Why have they not done so? If it is the best method for speed improvement you would expect the best sprinters to be using it but I do not believe that is the case and the same can be said for strength development. Finally as a practical point with soccer games being played almost all year long the idea that you can spend 3 or 4 training blocks to reach some form of peak condition is simply unrealistic and does not fit the requirements of the sport.

    What are you on. national teams be doing this . Not to mention a lot European teams . It’s like tech over power but with weights .

    @@matrix4097 As national teams are together for a relativley brief time I very much doubt that they are doing triphasic training even if they wanted to. Which European teams do you say are are using this system and where is your evidence?

    Love that. You are correct, triphasic training may not be "the best" for everyone. There is no cookie cutter way of improving athletic development. That being said it is a great way to structure a program and can be beneficial for athletes, especially if that athlete has never emphasized the eccentric portion of movement.

Yes, despite the reference to the "best gym program for soccer" athletic development is certainly individual but where is the proof of the effectiveness of the Triphasic approach? Which professional teams use it? Which elite sprinters use it? If you cannot specify then on what basis are you making your recommendation? I also remain unconvinced that it fits the current demands made on professional players who play virtually all year around but if you have evidence to the contrary then I would like to hear it.
